The Cottage - Traverse City - Photo album

I ordered a veggie omelette and asked for the toast to be substituted for cherry pancakes. Both the omelette and pancakes were delicious. The cherry topping was of the right sweetness. My server was friendly and helpful and the food came out fairly quickly even though it was a busy Sunday morning.
Went to The Cottage for breakfast at 1030, and it was pretty busy for a Saturday morning. The Host, servers, and busboys were extremely welcoming and nice. They were even able to accommodate our party's vegetarian requests! I ordered the Grand Omlette with the Black Cherry pancakes and it was absolu
I had placed a carryout order for the seafood platter. My order was ready as promised. The seafood platter had a generous portion of shrimp, perch, and cod. You had a choice of 2 sides. I'd gone with the fries and baked sweet potato. It was simply delicious!
The perch is fire! We had them as an appetizer (buffalo perch pieces) and they were super delicious. We also had a burger and fries which was equally delicious. Our waitress was so sweet and the atmosphere was very "home" like. Yes the place need some updating, but the food is fantastic!
Came here for the first time. Waitress was nice. I got the breakfast burrito which was huge and tasty! My husbnad got some pancakes, eggs and bacon. The pancakes were pretty good as well.
We were on a weekend getaway to Traverse City and one thing I wanted before heading back home, was an order of blueberry pancakes. Had the hash brown casserole. It is da bomb! My waitress, Autumn was really nice and took care of me great! Good vibe inside, as well.
I’ve been here a few times and have really liked everything. The atmosphere is very relaxed and everyone was very nice. All the food seemed very fresh and homemade! In the picture was the 1/2 sandwich and soup combo- I believe pot roast sandwich (the pot roast was good, mashed potatoes were bland bu
What a delightful restaurant! The food and service was wonderful! The Michigan cherry coke is a must(if you like cherry flavor)!
We had the perch and fried chicken dinners. Both were very good. It was very busy, with a lot of locals.
Our first time here. A great mom and pop type restaurant. . Excellent food and service. Michelle was our server. She made us feel welcome and treated us like family. Recommend the Buffalo perch appetizer. The loaded potato soup was to die for.
I chose the perch appetizer with buffalo sauce and my husband had chicken fingers, coleslaw and homemade french fries. The waitress was super friendly and was very attentive. The food is homemade which is super welcoming. Prices are very Afforable and we found the meal to be a great value for how yu
Wasn't sure what to expect but wanted a reasonably priced place to eat so we decided on the Cottage. First off our server Shane was probably one of the best I've ever experienced. He was fast, thorough and we never had to wait for anything. Very friendly and welcoming. Food was good, not spectacular
Such a cute little place to relax and grab a bite to eat! French toast and hot chocolate were yummy 🤗 Our waiter that night (12/01/22) was just a delight! Would recommend and stop again on our travels.
We really liked The Cottage for breakfast. And, if they had served wine, we would have gone back for dinner! I had biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs and my friend had a spinach omelet and hash browns. Both meals were very good. I can definitely recommend this restaurant.
First visit to the Cottage. Very nice, what struck me the most was the whole staff dynamic, very friendly, great teamwork from greeter to bus folks to wait staff. Accurate wait time estimate, fast kitchen even with every table full. The food, great, tried the Farmers Omelet with Pumpkin Pancakes, yu
