Service was good, food divine. Steak very tender, burger full of flavor. We all enjoyed our meal.
Started off in Bar love the bartender, she was great and super friendly. Our waiter was amazing. Love what the new owner has done to the place. We will be back!

Great hidden gem! They remodeled some of the restaurant and now they have a beautiful new bar with an eating area. The back room is still the same with the ties hanging from the cieling. You got to check it out!
This has to be one of the secret spots in OC. A no frills place with top quality steaks! I usually get the ribeye steak and it's so good!
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary there last night. When I made our reservation, the receptionist asked if it was for a special occasion. When I said it was for our anniversary she said she would seat us at her favorite spot. She did not disappoint! She even left a handwritten drawing wishing us a happy anniversary. Exceptional service like that is rare these days! Plus, the food was excellent. Come hungry.
Funky fun. This place first came to many people's attention way back in the 70s when Richard Nixon came here and had his tie cut-off. Wear a tie to dinner here and they'll cut yours off too. The focus is on great grilled steaks served in a funky cowboy barbeque style. Some of the seating areas make you think you're in a mine - low lit and tight spaces. It all just adds to the Old West atmosphere that begins when you travel out to the back country locale. A fun place to take visitors
What a great time!!! Dinner with the extended family. We all loved it. Everyone’s food was made to order. We all left full and very happy. DON’T SKIP DESSERT here! The churros were amazing!! Love the atmosphere and the ambient nature of the restaurant. I can’t wait to come back!
Incredible flavor, high-quality steaks, and the service were spectacular. The place is very historic and great for romantic encounters.
We can walk to the steakhouse and last night had the best dinner we’ve had there in 30+ years. The BBQ ribs and Porterhouse steak were five-stars good. Perfectly cooked, just superb! The service was fantastic, too. The steakhouse knocked it out of the park.

Cute place. Loved all the ties hanging around. The food was very good. The chicken was excellent! The shrimp and veggies were just average. My husband had the kabobs and he really enjoyed them.
This place was spectacular! The atmosphere is great service was super fun and the food was amazing. Had the prime rib. The garlic bread is super good try not to eat too much of that if you want to eat your dinner.. being around for a long time. Make sure to check out the back room where they display all the neckties. Very cool.

Trabuco Oaks Streakhouse remodeled we a really cool bar and they took out the old booths in the front room and put nice tables. Same great menu and staff. Tip: If you have kids walk over to the school across the street and see the mini horses, goats and sheep.
This place is great the food was amazing. I ordered the porterhouse and my fiance had the beef ribs.
The garlic bread and house salad were great I was tempted to order a second salad but my food had arrived. Which was great left satisfied and will be visiting again soon. Keep up the great work Trabuco Oak steakhouse

If you like steaks, ribs, burgers and old school restaurants, this place is a must. Solid portions, free valet parking only. It's dark and uneven floors so be careful, lol.
Good place with friendly crowd. Food is actually good, Your getting a lot for your money. Vintage vending and music machines inside. Interesting thing with "no tie policy". So - just a very good place to visit.
Had the Ribeye for two. Steak was good. Not many sides to choose from. It's an expensive steakhouse but I definitely wouldn't call it a "nice" restaurant.
No fuss atmosphere, steaks as good as or better than Ruth's Chris. The wine was a heavy pour lol and dessert was great. It was a good pick for dad's birthday.
My go to restaurant for my birthday every year; historic and rustic atmosphere with outstanding food and beverages; if you want to have a bit of fun, wear a tie. 😉
This is not only a fantastic steak house, it is a historical treasure. Come in with a tie and see it cut off and hanging on the wall or ceiling with thousands of ties. First tie to be cut of was Richard Nixon's. Now, the steak is fantastic. I had a ribeye med rare, my daughter in law had a perfectly cooked medium rare prime rib. You can get fries or a baked potato, baked bean. We finished off with hot fudge sundaes. Now this place can be a challenge to find, but. Well worth the effort.

Been wth my girlfriend for almost 19 years and this is the first time she had mentioned ever going when she was growing up. Food and service was excellent. I got the Cowboy. And it was the best 32 ounces of Top Serloin I have ever had.
When you go, the only parking is valet.
If I could do more than five stars to rate, I would.
Came here for a birthday celebration and the steak the potatoes everything was just amazing.... completely totally delicious....

I ate all of my food not because I was hungry I was. Only halfway finished it is because I could not stop eating it. I ate me and my sister salad all of my mashed potatoes my western beans a 16 oz steak I don't remember what I ordered except for a 16oz and it was so tender I couldn't believe it. I hate my steak from one end to the other end and the first and last by are the best because it's the crispy part. A zygote with the end post the last crispy bite I skipped two regular bites 82 Crissy Park and then I finished with the other ones because I couldn't wait any longer. So good. It was my birthday so course they brought a hot fudge sundae it was not normal hot fudge sundae the hot fudge how to texture almost marshmallow like with creaminess and smoothness of putting, the richness of a brownie. What it was but it was the best Sunday ever that, and it happened on a Friday night. My brother ordered a gizmo. I asked him what it was he said he did not know he described it it also sounded good are they going to get the gizmo next time. Our waitress was absolutely Beyond fabulous could not ask for a better service went Above and Beyond in every area. Everything from start to finish we are awesome and made it one of the best birthdays I ever had. From the time I walked in the door there's a big brass bell and I rang that little thing pretty hard, a lot louder than I expected it actually rang in my ears and the Hostess letter back to me gave a little jump but she did not look too happy but the other Hostess we saw coming he was smiling that made me smile play my brother my sister smile what more can you ask for. I recommend asking for the zucchini and mushrooms how's our appetizer also fabulous. If you got a girlfriend you want to press and she's a meat and potatoes to a girl well skip potatoes go straight to the meat this is the place you want to be. My meal feel so good I've had one like that in a long time I want to do it once a month because I enjoyed it so much my hat is off to you who cooked my steak and who his the arms that are strong enough to mix the mash potatos that thick. I don't want to arm-wrestle with you but I'll eat your potatoes. And here's the kicker about the whole experience you will never eat in a place like this again because........ yeah sorry that was Indescribable but it's not out back ring of those regular steak places I don't feel comfortable calling us take place after this meal they are just places to get a bite to eat. Trabuco Oaks Steakhouse. Yes it is a steakhouse. Or a house of steaks what are you prefer. I forgot my A1 steak sauce all the way to the second of the last bite of my steak and her brother pointed it out to me I put a little bit on a piece I didn't do that again. By the way it's a nice place where tie you don't want to look like a slob going in but you can still be comfortable too😁😋
