Okay we are here for the first time today! :-) it is a hidden little gem here in Torrance. We came for happy hour and found the food and service to be outstanding! The prices were very decent. Looks like great Italian fare. We will be back for lunch or dinner! Ciao! :-)

The calamari appetizer I would not order again, but the pasta was perfectly al dente, with lovely prepared shrimp, shelled, veined, and tailed, bravo.
Gaetano's is a good place. I believe that it wants to be upscale but that is just not happening. Just because you charge a lot of money for a dish does not make up scale. There should be much more to offer as far as a culinary experience, and ambiance. That being said, the food is good. I enjoyed
The outside dining area is very pleasant and a nice environment. I was concerned it would feel like we were sitting in a parking lot, but you don't get that at all. Gaetano's is great home made Italian food. It is family owned and has been around a long time. We love it. Parking is easy.
Make a reservation or you may find yourself waiting a bit to get seated. The service is excellent. It appears the staff wants to be there and they take good care of you.
