Love their very modern and beautifully decorated interior and the great service - and of course, many deliciousness to drool over!below is the list of items I had: Japanese style pan-fried Salmon with rice - definitely, the highlight of the meal as the portion of the salmon is very generous and with the skin seared and on a hot plate - it becomes crispy and flavourful. The sauce goes really well with the rice and is highly recommended! Japanese style pan-fried beef with rice - please swipe for the pink center and I think it speaks for itself! Drinks: Pink berry and Blue Coast are definitely a great way to set the mood because they are so pretty! Blue coast, in particular, are one of my favourites with a luscious blue hue and towards the sweeter side of drinks which I love Dessert: their Korean-style macarons are super delicious layered with smooth cream, the plating is super cute and this will become a sweet ending to any meal! Appetizer: Unique selection indeed! in particular, their spicy whelk salad (辣螺肉)is one of the more rare finds, and some pieces are just huge! chewy and delicious. Smoked salmon is also a great healthy choice that comes on top of a bed of baby spinach.

This is not the same Soban as before as they have reopened with a brand new restaurant concept serving French & Japanese fusion cuisine. There is an extensive selection of appetizers, mains 🥘 , desserts 🍰 and drinks 🍹 to choose from on their menu. I love their newly renovated contemporary design, as well as the aesthetics inside! I would say this is a great spot for hangouts, dates and night outs! The views are also satisfying as Soban is located on the second floor of a building, which oversees the intersection of Yonge & Finch. I was very impressed with the presentation of the dishes, as well as the taste and the time the dishes to came out after ordering. Everything was fantastic, but the Japanese Style Beef Omelet definitely stood out to me. I would recommend trying this dish and pairing it with the Peach Peach cocktail. IG: Ayenomz

If you're looking for creative Japanese fusion dish, this is the spot to try! Located in Yonge & Finch, a newly renovated Soban Eatery & Bar, offers extensive menu from small bites to mains, and even desserts. Appetizer: Takoyaki - our favourite who doesn't love takoyaki?! Fruit Salad - comes with avocado, strawberry, honeydew, and lettuce. It's light yet full of flavour Chicken Skewers Shrimp skewers Mains: * Beef Teppan Pasta - served on a sizzling hot plate. I love the creamy pasta, a great addition to the medium rare steak. And the sauce has all the complex, sweet & savoury flavours that go so well with everything. * Japanese Style Pan Fried Beef with Rice Mocktails: * Pink Berry - this drink is so pretty and refreshing! Absolutely a must order * Blue Coast Overall, we really love the meals, ambiance, the modern-minimalist interior, and the amazing hospitality. This place is great for hanging out with friends, date night or even late night snacks

Super cute atmosphere inside. Clean and sleek with cool light fixtures, and a nice view of busy Yonge Street. The lady that served us was lovely. We tried the lava cake, vanilla crepe cake and Japanese style vanilla double formage cheese cake. Out of those, the vanilla crepe cake was delightful. The lava cake came nice and warm and was rich, and was plated nicely. The vanilla cheese cake was nice, less sweet than the others however it was very obvious that it was frozen cheesecake. Otherwise it was nice!

Very first impression was that they had a nice decoration. We were seated by the window where we had a pretty nice view to yonge street. Service was okay but the food came really slow. Their macaroon is really sweet as well as the cheese corn. Everything else was great so we still had a good time.

We had a drink which was bubble tea with melted raw sugar. Quiet interesting concept and delicious too. Their vanilla latte was also really good. It’s an amazing place to spend some time for studying or doing your own work. Nice ambiance and staff too.

If you intend to go here you better be prepared to order 1 item each. For every 2 hours you stay each person has to order 1 item. I've never had an issue with that as I love most desserts and drinks there. The crepe cakes are absolutely delicious as well as the frappes, smoothies, berry tea, Italian soda and their Japanese style fries. The service has been efficient and quick every time i've gone as well. Would rate this 5 stars but I'm not a huge fan of the ramen there as well as the spicy rice cakes. Personally I don't go here to eat a full meal but rather for drinks or desserts.
