This was our first visit. It was okay, definitely a dive restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. The decor is in disarray, lights needed replaced, walls painted, etc - total dive feel. The Heartland Cafe is very hit or miss in terms of service and quality of food. I've had a very good breakfast and on a different occasion waited a very long time in a empty restaurant for a meal. The restaurant decor is in disarray which means the owner doesn't put any money back into the busines

They're food is do good. Large quantity at an affordable price. Small quite cafe. The staff is a little strange and you have to go up to the counter for refills. I would have rated 5 stars but it takes a really long time to get the food.

The Heartland Cafe was wonderful! The good was super, the atmosphere is nice. My biscuits were underdone, but that's not a huge huge deal. My only wish is that the servers were a tiny bit more attentive. We had Miss Hannah and she was lovely, truly.
