Great food and wonderful people. A really good variety for every taste. We ordered a few different items and shared. The folks running this place really make you feel at home. Going back for more? You can count on it.

They had a wide variety of Polish food, as is implied by the name. The pierogi flavors are really inventive and taste great. The prices were fair.
It seems to be run by a family, and the lady on staff when we went there was very friendly; it really felt like we were in her house, and we were her guest. I don't have any complaints other than the location; I'm not from the area, and it was very difficult to navigate Rt. 37 to get to the restaurant.

Last night my date and I went to try Sil's Pierogies.
I was struck that there were quite a few customers at 7pm on a cold Thursday evening.
From the moment we were seated the fun began...the waitress was super friendly and kind! She made us feel like we were part of her family. We took our time and checked out the whole menu. Our waitress helped by describing the various options. So, we ordered some of everything (except the Hungarian Goulash- because I don't eat beef if I can help it).
The first item to arrive was our bowl of piping hot red beet borscht. It came with a big serving of sour cream...and together it was delish! Yummy small cubes of totally fresh and perfectly cooked beets...ever so slightly crunchy...the most fresh borscht I've ever had (and I have had a lot!).
Next item was our plate of 3 humongous potato pancakes. Good Lord...these are out of this world! They are served with sour cream and also applesauce. We devoured them! Simply the best I've ever had...crunchy and crisp exterior and soft and succulent inside. Forgetaboutit!!
Then came the dish (can't remember the name) which was egg noodles with kielbasa and sautéed onions....mmmm!
Don't even try telling me your mouth didn't start watering.
A side dish of sauerkraut along with a platter of 6 pieroies were next. I was surprised that the sauerkraut didn't look like what I am used to having (soaking wet cabbage). This was sauteed and has the appearance of almost hash browns. Yet one taste and my date and I were like ",Hells yeah!" So flavorful! And the perogies were yummo as well. We opted for 3 of the "red potato with garlic" and 3 of the "farmers cheese." Off the charts good.
The entire time the whole room had a happy buzz from the great music being piped in...the amazing waitress merrily talking with all the ecstatic customers...the chef who came out and checked on each table to ensure everything was to their liking...we even made friends with many of the other tables as all of our enjoyment was mutual.
And...last but not least...our waitress brought us each a complimentary dessert...some type of crispy Polish pastry perfectly dashed with confectionary sugar...so fricking good!
(We couldn't resist buying a box of them which are sold up at the counter).
This restaurant has soul. Do you know what I mean? Have you ever seen the film called LIKE WATER FOR CHOCOLATE? It's a foreign film based on the best selling Mexican book (it was the hightest grossing foreign film ever in the USA at that point) and it told the story of how when the chef was in love all the customers who ate his cooking fell in love...and when the chef was sad, all the customers cried and cried after eating his food. Well, there is much truth to this phenomenon. And all I can say is at Sil's Pierogies get ready for the love.
Go...just go...and you'll probably see us there, cause we are now loyal fans and grateful customers!

We just visited Sil's for the first time, but it will definitely not be the last. Great homemade food at a reasonable price. I had never had homemade pierogi before and really loved them. They have so many different kinds to choose from. Make sure to order the potato pancakes, too. So good.

Good polish food. Took advantage of a Groupon coupon deal. The portions are very large so had a box to go! Great fresh handmade perogies

I did a take out order for a small event. The food was ready as promised and HOT. The containers were labeled and everything was tasty and delicious. We had 4 different types of pierogi, kielbasa, potato pancakes and stuffed cabbage which tasted just like my mom use to make. I am looking forward to having a meal in the restaurant with a nice Polish beer perhaps? (BYOB)

OMG, the pierogi here are awesome. I had the potato/cheddar and the bacon cheeseburger pierogi...and they were devine. Had the blackberry and sweet cream dessert pierogi too. I will definitely be back for more.

Sil's is absolutely, amazingly delicious! The potato pancake was incredible! The pierogi was equally as incredible! The owner pulled up a chair and chatted for a bit, so warm and friendly! I can't say enough about Sil's! LOVE THIS PLACE!
