Beyond BBQ! We were camping near by and wanted to find a good place to eat. BP’s delivered. The brisket was really, really good. Even so, the sauce was actually the star of the show though.
We also met the owner who was clearly passionate about his work. We have been to many local restaurants and it is always nice when you come across a place who’s owner is clearly focused on creating a great taste and experience for guests. I’m hungry again for BBQ just writing this review!!
Yummy!! First time here, I just finished lunch. I ordered the chicken which I thought was really great. We shared some sides of the green beans with bacon, coleslaw, and an amazing corn muffin. And had to have a peach cobbler for dessert. We sat out on the patio which was very nice and cool with some music playing. Would love to come back and try some of the other meals. Lunch was a good deal - sandwich combo. Definitely worth a stop.
The brisket was pretty good and the potato salad was good (if you like a strong mustard base). We also got the brisket nachos and sidewinder fries and they were both really good. The smoked brat on the other hand was nothing special. It's ok but not sure I'll go back.
oh man the seasoning on those green beans I have never had that amazement before. baked beans top notch not too sweet always something that I think gets overdone quick is sweet baked beans these were great not too sweet. that damn brisket why would you want to eat anything else but that amazing brisket.
Ate here with a friend and we both loved it. Fast service, and the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches were both 5/5! The only reason the review isn't five stars is because some of the sides were just OK, such as the macaroni and cheese. By far our favorite sides were the baked beans and the cornbread muffin. Definitely recommend this place if you're in town.
Stayed in town for work and discovered this place. The workers there were very friendly and welcoming and the food was amazing !!! I ended up going there twice. The meat, the sauces, those beans, and that cornbread were soooo good and best of all, the food was very reasonably priced. This place is a must stop if you're looking for a great place to eat in Tomah !!!
I ate twice here when I was in town. I really enjoyed their BBQ, and the cheese curds were pretty good. The second time in my to go order had to be remade because they couldn't find it. I wasn't worried because I had plenty of time. Without asking they offered to either comp my cheese curds or get a free dessert. I took the opportunity to try the cobbler. I was not disappointed. Great food and service all in all.
