I was a lil skeptical at first when my daughter and son in love recommend that we dine here on our last night in Rhode Island. Being from Louisiana... There is level of "seafood expectations" that's a must have! My daughter assured me "Mommy this place is the real deal! We've been there twice". So she called and made reservations for a window seat and let me say......The Boat House did not disappoint!!!
The drinks? On Point!
The dinner? Phenomenal!!
And the view was everything!!!
As I sat there looking at our beautiful daughter, who has grown into a wonderful wife and future Airmen, I couldn't help but think....Wow! What a beautiful way to end an Empty Nesters visit�
This is a great little spot. Right on the water! We were able to enjoy a delicious meal and watch the sunset! Would recommend for a romantic meal!
Absolutely delicious! We had the best time celebrating my sisters birthday! Our server Nancy was so so sweet! The food was very fresh and the service was phenomenal. The sunset view was the icing on the cake for sure
Phenomenal! One of the best restaurants in Rhode Island and I'm a huge foodie. The clam chowder is a must-have. My first time trying swordfish and it was delicious. Both the service and ambiance was great as well. I'm glad they are part of the Newport Restaurant Group.
This place has a Quiet Magic to it. Expensive yes. But worth it. I take my family here all the time. We always get lobster rolls and calamari. Can’t go wrong! Truly Amazing and fresh food! TREAT YO SELF! Poetic Approved!!!
Both great food AND a great location? Yes! This is not a common combination but the Boat House delivers. Very popular place and you must have a reservation. The staff is really nice and helpful. The location on the water is spectacular, especially for sunset. The drinks were great. The menu is diverse. The food was incredible. Very fresh, well presented, large portions (yes, share). Delish!!!
Amazing chowders - both were delicious. Burger and fish sandwich were both cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. Lovely new place to add to our list.
Panoramic views of the ocean, upscale yet casual, delicious food, and family friendly! I've been here several times and have never been disappointed. Definitely try their Hall of Fame Chowder and the Cod Fish Cakes. My husband and I recently had dinner for our anniversary and the Boat House surprised us with a complimentary dessert! A sweet ending to a lovely night. Highly recommend!
The food at Boat House Waterfront was amazing. I ordered the swordfish, my wife orders the fish and chips. Both dishes were served to perfection.
The swordfish was cooked just right, and the flavors matched so well.
My wife said her meal was great and the seafood was fresh an prepared just right.
We highly recommend this establishment and will be back.
Overall pleasant atmosphere. Lovely outside dining area with beautiful views of the water. The Tuna Tartare was perfectly prepared as was the Raw Bar Sampler. I had the Char Grilled Swordfish and it was excellent, but my husband couldn't finish his Seafood Scampi due to the overwhelming amount of cooking sherry in the dish. Good service. We will definitely return.
