We went on a day they were grossly understaffed. The wait staff worked extremely hard to make everyone happy, and we're mostly successful. Some of the Cuban food tasted more Mexican than Cuban, but was good in it's own right. I'd go back any day.
Love coming here, always a great time!! The servers are always wonderfully friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend this place to my friends any chance I get! The food is top tier, and the margaritas are so so good (and I don't even like tequila 😅) love this place!
This is a great Mexican restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Free salsa and chips of course. They have a great selection of cold Mexican draft beer also. Nice decor and friendly attentive staff. My wife and I both had shredded beef dishes and both were uniquely different.

First visit and had a great meal. Got 2 enchiladas, 1 shredded beef and a chicken. Both were delicious with beans and rice too. The server was busy so I had to wait a while to get my check.
Stopped on the way back to where we are staying. Glad we did! Food was tasty, prices reasonable, service prompt and atmosphere great. There is some outdoor seating but we are inside. Warm chips came with a mild and a spicy salsa!
From New Zealand to El Leoncito! I was very keen to try the Mexican food and I wasn’t disappointed. The vegan tacos were tasty and accompanied with yellow rice and refried beans which were delicious. The corn chips came with a mild and a spicy salsa which was perfect on the tacos.

Food is delicious, not expensive. Good service. Sea view or you can stay inside. The moment you arrived crisps were severed on the house. I highly recommend this place. Ample parking lots
Churasco steak was delicious and they kept bringing generous servings of warm fries. Only Pepsi products. Also Guacamole was good but could have used more lime.
I went to dinner with a friend tonight. They were quick to seat, serve and refill. Everything was delicious! We were able to sit and relax and enjoy our evening. I forgot to take my before picture. Margaritas are amazing!
Quick service and great atmosphere! Juan took care of us and he was able to suggest platters and drinks. We visited on Sunday after a long day of work and had a great time. They have a bar and different seating areas. You can enjoy your food in the outdoor seating. We had Birria Tacos, Chuleta Kan

This restaurant is the best I’ve tried so far. I live a little far but I don’t mind the drive at all. I been here twice and both times they did not disappoint at all. I highly recommend. My waiter Alex was so friendly. There is so many great things to say about El Leoncito.
2023 Update - This is still one of the best Mexican restaurants on the coast. Had the Birria Tacos and they were excellent! Even more impressive was the service, We got our food in less than 10 minutes for them time we ordered, probably closer to 5 minutes. Will be back again, absolutely amazing
First time trying Cuban foods. Taste is great. Love the service & atmosphere.
My wife and I love this place. We live in Miami and when we come up to visit my mother-in-law, we always come here. The food is never disappointing. The service is exceptional. The margaritas are delicious. Check it out. You'll love it too.
