I've only been there twice for lunch by myself and was treated very nice. My choice was the Thai Basil Chicken, something I ate a lot of overseas. It was delicious, best I've had in a long while. I've been twice, their menu is so large you honestly need a few mins to really take it all in. I got the garlic fried rice, beef noodles, potstickers and spring rolls. Everything was delicious and we got smoothies to go. Quick, clean service.
In the past I had the Thai basil chicken fried rice. It was once very tasty with tons of spices and flavor. My last order was so bland. I think they focus more on the drinks now. My magnolia beef was also not how I remembered it. No spice or kick. Usually it has a spicy flavor with Thai peppers. It
Lot of smoothies and food Menus is like big book So many list of food and drinking All Asian famus food cooking but not special. I order was Pho. Taste is ok but no good I guess all food like that. But you will have many chose of food. If you like it is ok or you going some where restaurant better.
Quality has not changed at all under new management, in fact may be better. At my last visit, we dined in, ordered crab rangoons, orange chicken, Chow fun and a taro milk freeze. All were excellent. Tried the brown sugar milk tea today and it might be my new favorite!
I've tried the Joy Yee in China town chicago several times and was not disappointed despite being 1 hour away in the suburbs. Went with the cuttlefish and beef.
