I'm from pphilly so asking for the Philly cheese steak I was expecting more than a minute steak on a roll. It was still good. More like a home made steak that you would get when you a Murray's box of steaks.
Zero-BS fast fine hearty short-order meals from AM eggs to shrimp salad sub lunch. Plain atmosphere, bargain rich food. Not for dressing up.
Been getting lunch here for 14 years. You gotta try the polish dog! Sometimes I get chipped beef and add a fried egg or just get a chef salad. The Greek salad is great too! Thank you for many years of lunch and a friendly environment!
The staff here are very nice people. Very welcoming and considerate. The food was delicious! This sub bread is soft and fresh. Some of us can appreciate that! I will be returning with my family.

I incorrectly submitted my order to the cashier today and she passed it on to him. He looked at it then looked at me and asked the cashier to ask me if I wanted it this way instead of the way I ordered it and he was right! I did not even realize that I had omitted one essential element of my order but he caught it. What a memory and what service.
I My sandwich was piping hot ten minutes later and still delicious. The rest of the crew is super nice and very pleasant. The place inside is clean and bright. Carroll's is a great sandwich shop that has gotten better over the years. I give it 7 stars. Ciao
