My wife dragged me here 5 years ago when La Tea Da was owned by a different owner. She promised I would like/love La Tea Da. Well we did fall in with our little tea shop and stop by every time we are in town. Sometimes just to buy some scones. It's a cute little shop and nice relaxing experience. Remember to call ahead.

Love the tea and scones. Skip the sandwiches. The times I have been there since the new owners, the sandwiches are left wanting. Kids loved coming here for mother's day.

I love this place. They have great prices for a tea house and the owners made me feel very very welcome there. I brought home FIVE bags of tea because they're just so good. The tea service itself was exceptional and delicious. If you're just stopping by, you have to pick up a Gurgle Pot! (A pitcher shaped like a fish)

This was a wonderful little place. I was having some solo mama time and came upon this gem. The shop was so cute and the entire atmosphere was calming, elegant, and beautiful. The high tea was Divine and the Chinese rose petal tea has become one of my new favorites. A big thank you to the owner and her children for letting me take my time. You all were a delight! Definitely one of the highlights of my vacation. Will be returning next year. (It was that awesome)

This is the first tea place I've ever been to so take this review with a bit of salt.
La Tea Da Tea Room is a cozy little tea room with an attached gift shop. They have a wide selection of teas and many different tea options. Since I know almost nothing about tea, I got the high tea so I could try everything. The scones and desserts were amazing, the sandwiches not so much. Both the savory (cheese and shallot) scone and the sweet (raspberry) scone were very delicious. There were several desserts, none of which I know the name of, but they were all delicious and had a raspberry theme going on. As for the sandwiches, there was a lamb sandwich which was kind of gross. The flavor kept going back and forth, but I really didn't seem to like it. The curry sandwich was decent, but I guess I have slightly different expectations for curry since I've been to India. There was an egg salad sandwich, but I didn't try it because I don't like egg salad. In the future, if I ever go to a tea house again, it is likely that I will stick to the scones, dessert, and tea.

Don't be deceived by the unassuming outside of this little treasure. This tea house is fancy, elegant, and fun. Perhaps not for an everyday visit, make sure you call ahead to give them a chance to prepare for you. It's pricey, but worth it as a way to celebrate a special occasion or treat a lady that you love. Part of it is a small shop with household and tea items, the other half is the restaurant part. You can just get a pot of tea or you can get the whole experience with scones, sandwiches, and incredible dessert bites. Staff was friendly and personable.

I had tea at La Tea Da for the first time today and was quite pleased with the experience. I was seated by a young man who brought out my choice of tea and a small scoop of Sorbet to start, from there I had a lovely vegetable and rice soup along with a wide variety of small sandwiches, Each sandwich had great flavor, and it was enjoyable to have such a variety put in front of me! It was a very good portion of food and I ended up taking some home with me! Besides a beautiful tea room, they have an adorable gift shop with very reasonably priced decor, jewelry and tea items. At 12:00 today the tea room was full with more people walking in. I would highly recommend that anyone who wants a taste of gentility and a beautiful setting should come to La Tea Da! Bring your friend, your daughter, your mother, this place is absolutely sweet!

Super cute place. I've never been to a tea house before but I love it. It was quiet and there is a gift shop on one side. I brought a 3 year old that I nanny and she loves to go there with her mom. They have a kids plate and hot coco which is great.
