WORST EXPERIENCE. It is 9:30. I was in the Drive thru. Someone asked me for my order and while I was trying to order a rude ass Manager said "We are closed" very rudely like 10 times. EXCUSE YOU. YOU COULD HAVE SAID IT KINDER. MANAGE BETTER. You do not own the place. You work for it. You work to serve. Never ever going to come back without an apology. (this post was from a week ago) they took it off so you won’t see their bad quality work.

The order taker/cashier rang up the wrong food charging us more for our meal. They refused to do a refund on the card, citing that their computer will not allow it (wrong, that would be illegal). So they kindly gave us the couple bucks back in cash (against their merchant agreement with their credit card processor; it's like a cash advance without the 30% interest, of course that's not allowed).
In the end the food we expected was on our tray, and there were no issues there.
I had the skinless breast black bean bowl combo. I'd get it again.

I usually love el pollo loco. But this one, every time I have gone to get food from here it taste funky. Don’t know what water they use or something else. The taste is completely off! Gives me a headache every time I eat here as well. Weird.

Menu has greatly expanded in the past year. Drive through service is great for the times we are in. Very efficient.

Missing items in my drive through order. First they forgot to give me the drink. Then I found out after I got home that the guacamole is missing too.

I don't eat chicken, cheese or sour cream. So I ask to substitute avocado for the chicken. I get one slice of avocado in the classic chicken tostado. That's simply not a substitute; that's robbery. This is the last time.

Not sure what happened to this el pollo loco. Maybe the cook everything is Chlorinated water. Everything taste really bad. Started having headaches from eating here every time I ate here. I was thinking it was me, but when I stopped eating there my headaches have gone away. One day decided to try it again and got a headache again. I started researching and I read that they use msg. That explains my headaches now. Still doesn’t explain the bad taste. Someone need to look into it and clean it up
