Very attentive staff. DELICIOUS food choices. There are a lot of fun twists on traditional favorites. The handshakes are fantastic. I had the Mac attack burger which was delicious and more than enough food for 2 people. The fries are amazing. The decor is cute for a burger joint.
Third time I have eaten at this location.
My experience has been consistany. Menu offers many choice with some burgers that you may not find in most places. I love experimenting new food so this is optimal for me. The food tastes great, i don't think anyone can argue with that. I also enjoy craft beer and this place enables me to try some new options. My reason for giving it 4 starts and not 5 is because I always find the place a little to cold for my taste even during hot weather. And having a meal here can turn out to be expensive despite that I understand that these are not diner or fast food burgers. TO ANYONE THAT WANTS AN EXCEPTIONAL BURGER this is the place to dine if you don't mind paying a little more for better ingredients.
What a cool little spot! had dinner with a few friends last night. it was so busy but our food came out, I thought pretty quickly. we split a pound of fries with couple of what seemed to be more dips then you could ever ask for. my girlfriend had their signature salad I had a concoction I put together with grilled chicken, avocado and a few other things. the guys had a couple of their burgers. open was baked in a puff pastry dough, really wild. to top it off they have some cool cocktails I wouldn't have thought a burger joint would have and their servers were really sweet. love this place!
I waited for a while to post this review and I'm glad that I did. We ordered take out a long time ago and I don't know what happened but it came out the wrong way, however the restaurant made good on their mistake and totally fixed it and then some! So I went in there recently with a close friend on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving to try to have a meal in person instead of repeated take outs to see if the experience was any different. Eating there was so incredibly different than the takeout experience!! The waiter was great and highly attentive, the ambiance in the restaurant, the dishes to choose from, the food quality, the setting, the drinks, the presentation of the unique dishware, the music was hopping, the unusual tree branches on the ceiling decorated in multi colored lights in a classy way! - it all won me over x 10!!! I ordered two shots of whipped vodka, 1 lb of their fresh made fries, and a build-your-own Burger with avocados smoked BBQ aioli sauce on a sesame bun lettuce and tomato, and a small your mom salad - highly recommend!
I visited the Thornwood Burger Bistro for a late lunch with a friend. I went to this location when they first opened up but they have updated it. They now have a full bar area and some outdoor seating. We were greeted by Michael. We sat at the bar and I ordered the Veggie Portobello Burger; I highly recommend it! My friend ordered a salad which he said was really good. We shared the pound of fries that came with three sauces. Michael made me a margarita which was great. Later on Claire made me another one which was great also! Both Michael and Claire were very friendly, professional, and provided great service. After we ate, we sat outside for a little waiting for my boyfriend to come. When he arrived, we ordered a few more drinks (happy hour $4 special). Thanks to the food, drinks, employees, and atmosphere, this one of my favorite spots in Westchester!
Inventive menu with some truly fantastic burger combos. If you want a classic burger for under $9 you should look elsewhere, however. This place is more something you'd find in Brooklyn these days, hand cut friends and gourmet burgers served on wooden slabs. At 10-14$ (burger) + 5-8$ (fries) + drink what you get in return is a grand Roman orgy of flavor in your mouth. Their homemade sauces, spreads and seasonings are to behold. Having said that, it's just a tad pricey and not being able to get it medium-rare (or any way other than well-done) made the choice to dodge them a star easy.
PS, they also have great beer on tap and one of those soda machines with a billion flavor combos. This is definitely a place I'll return to for lunch when I'm in the area and craving a top tier burger, but not so often.
Food was very good: presentation excellent. The place is small and perfect for a quick bite.
I walked into Little Big Bites Burger Bistro thinking it was going to be small sliders and fast food quality. The name did not do justice to a new and cool idea. I had take out so I can't comment on anything other than the delicious burger and fries! But I would bring friends for eat in (and beer/wine) and recommend to my family.
Just finished our first meal here and it was terrific. So glad to see a place like this open up. We've lived in the area for over 12 years and it's always dismaying to see yet another deli or pizza place open up. It's also dismaying to see the complaints on the other reviews that it's too "Brooklyn" - this is exactly what we need more of: an interestingly designed place with an inventive menu, self serve draft beer, etc. Yes it's expensive but this is a nice option to have in the area. Again, we don't need another inexpensive hamburger place, there's one just down the road - just look for the Golden Arches.
The burgers are unbelievably good, the fries are very good and the fried Chips Ahoy was fantastic. The guys working there are very friendly and personable, and the atmosphere is unique and awesome. Highly recommended to everyone.
Good beer selection and great food. I really enjoy the fries with every dipping sauce I have tried so far. The Service is stand up and they offer a good happy hour.
