Golden Corral

All cold ! Ever the dinner rolls, and what is that white stuff in the middle of the broccoli ? cut the broccoli in half ,took it out it was like Styrofoam ,it did not squish but maintained its structure, it's all generic food ! Poor quality food, and only a few people that talked English, restaurant was kinda clean , managers talking and not attending to the buffet , also my birthday coupon was erased so I couldn't use that, milk was yucky being 1%, you think it would be great but not ,needs improvement all the way around !

I went Friday the 1st. Before covid it used to be soo good. I came for the steaks and shrimp. I won't ever come to this place again. Everything tasted rotten, sour, even the steak. I was so disappointed honestly. How did their quality expectations get that low. Later that day my stomach started to hurt, thank God I didn't end up with food poisoning. The interior upgrade doesn't mean anything if the food is disgusting.

My daughter and I went there for lunch today. Our waitress was awesome. Boy, she was very on top of keeping the table clear of used plates our drinks full! I gave her a 20$ tip. I always wondered if people tip. The whole crew seemed to be working very hard. I didn't get her name, I hope she see this. Thank you!

I wish I would've gotten pictures, simply to show how busy they were. My description may not do them justice. It was Sunday 05/15/22. The line was out the door when my daughters and I first arrived. We got in and paid for our meal fairly quickly. A lady behind me was upset about pricing. She was upset that it was before 4pm, and she had to pay dinner prices, even though the menu above the register clearly stated that on Sundays, dinner prices are from 11AM-close. So she demanded to speak to a manager to express, "how this is just so damn ridiculous!" I'm only mentioning this to help illustrate how professional the manager, Penny was with this customer. Penny was polite, professional, and courteous in her explanation, as this woman was very rude. Penny never broke her smile, and even promised the customer that she would get them seated as soon as possible. I could tell all the staff members there work very well together and work very hard. All the teammates there continued to show one another support, helping each other clean tables, dishes, so the next group of people could be seated. It was my first time there since the new renovations. The food was good, but watching the staff there made the experience with my daughters much more enjoyable. I expressed to my girls they needed to make sure they were very polite to the staff members there, and pointed out how hard everyone was working, and how rude some other people can be. I personally thanked every employee I crossed paths with. Telling them how much I appreciated them coming to work, and that they all deserved some grace. I would highly recommend this golden corral location, as they are pushed to high volumes of customers, and they remained to hold their composure and exemplified great team work.

The food was on par with what I have come to expect. Not great, not bad. Filling. The server was incredibly friendly and efficient. The manager, however, was a jerk. Hearing him yell at the staff and berate a Latino woman with "do you even know what spaghetti is?" was not exactly the hospitality I-nor the patrons around me who agreed that this behavior was repulsive-were looking forward to. I will say that I have never had an experience like this at Golden Corral in the past.
