My girlfriend and I came here over the weekend and we were pretty impressed with the diner. The atmosphere was quaint and enjoyable. The food was great and came in a pretty large amount. We were quite happy with what we ordered. The picture I took was the buffalo chicken wrap and it was really good. Of course before we left we wanted to try the donuts that they had and they were fantastic. Would highly recommend checking out here for a breakfast stop.

Tried the grab n go burrito and picked out a few donuts on the way out. The coffee was good, burrito was delicious, and the donut (white chocolate raspberry) was AMAZING! The ladies working were very sweet. Overall it was a great experience

Day Light/Urban Eatery has always been a great place to visit for some quality breakfast. If your food takes an extra minute than some fast food place or even Starbucks...remember they are serving quality food. Their wide variety of options all the way to gluten free options shows they care for their customers and what they put out. I love stopping in for the Early Bird burrito. Yes I wait for a high quality breakfast burrito, rather than mystery meats and microwaved foods elsewhere.

I decided to take my 3 year old son here for breakfast and a treat this morning since he misses his big brother at school. We had never tried this place before but I heard the food is pretty good. So off we went with my 3 year old chanting "pancakes! And donuts and eggs!" We got there and ordered our donuts at the counter first. At the check out counter I told the woman we would like to order breakfast as well. She tells us she can just add the donuts to our breakfast bill and seats us with a menu and coloring page for my son. We already knew what we wanted so we sat patiently waiting for the server. At this time there was only my son and I, a table of high school students that had already ordered, and an elderly woman. So not super busy. The waitress passed our table several times, I made eye contact and smiled. She never stopped. I sat there and watched 3 more tables of people come in and be seated, served coffee and orders taken. I have no idea why I was never offered coffee or even spoken to once I was seated. But it felt really crappy to be treated like my son and I were invisible. I decided to just go pay for the donuts at the counter and leave as it would now be over a half hour wait even if we got to place an order. We had already been waiting a half hour .The woman at the counter was sweet and apologetic. She gave me 2 token for 2 free donuts next time. I appreciate the gesture but I would have much preferred them comping the donuts I already got instead of assuming I would be coming back another time after being treated like I didn't exist. It aslo would have been nice to receive an apology from the server that ignored me, not the poor woman who had no control over the situation. I was really excited to try the food and coffee here, the only place in town I've seen advertise they serve Hawaiian coffee, (my favorite). Was really hoping to come out of this experience with a new favorite breakfast spot. Instead I left with an empty stomach and a toddler that cried for his pancakes the whole way home.

Used to go here all the time when they first opened and the owners were there all the time. Donuts were fresh and breakfast was fast and great. Now for some reason the donuts taste old and take out breakfast takes forever. They always use the excuse that the order never got back to the kitchen. The worst part is they don't even check on you! I waited damn near an hour when I was there 3 months ago. I decided to give them another chance and it took 30 minutes this time. They call their breakfast menu fast breakfast or something to that effect and the menu says 10 minutes or less! They really should remove that because they obviously can't deliver. They have lost a loyal customer. I won't be going back.
