First time trying here! The best pizza in the area! Well done just like we like! All the other pizza places are your typical average cooked pizza. The pepperoni was great, too! Nice and flavorful.

We had a family dinner at Joeys Pizza in Thorndale. They recently refurbished the space and it is wide open, clean, streamlined with clear lines to the kitchen. I believe it is family owned and operated, at least that was the feel and vibe given off. Great atmosphere! Everyone was very attentive. We ate in and hung out and watched everyone coming in for takeout. Now onto the food. The reason I went was to try the pizza. I like my pizza well done. This was perfect. The pizza had plenty of flavor. The pepperoni added a nice amount of flavor. The dough was crispy. The pepperoni was a bit greasy but nothing shocking. Fantastic, flavorful pizza. Definitely will be going back. Now the cheesesteak. My son said it was the best he has had and loved it. He said that is why we have to go back. I loved the seeded, Liscio’s rolls. Meat was good, there wasn’t a ton of cheese. I didn’t get onions or peppers as I think that will add more to the taste. Next time. Overall, it was a very good cheesesteak. I highly recommend this place. I know Speer has the place in West Chester that I absolutely love. So this place didn’t disappoint!!! Very excited to add this to the rotation.

OMG! Great cheese pie. The dough is flavorful and crisps up phenomenally. Sauce and cheese blend proportions and flavor profile create a perfect pie. Over a 30 minute drive for me so I'm calling it the 20# pie - will be back as a reward once I shed 20 pounds :-) I dream of this and the days I don't it pops up in my FB feed. (April 2021 visit - ate a slice in car so I tasted it as fresh as possible.)

On a scale of 0 - 10: 8.7 In terms of the overall pizza picture in the tri-county area, Joey’s Pizza in Thorndale is special. Outrageously good pie. Picture says it all. Great crust, great crisp, great sauce, tight cheese. If the crust was just a liiittle bit lighter, and just 20-30 seconds less done, literally, it would be in the 9 club. Still, outrageously good. Joey’s, never stop making pizza this way.

Amazing pizza. If you like pepperoni, get pepperoni. Spicy Cup pepperoni, whole milk mozzarella, just enough sauce (not too much) and a thin layer or parmigiano reggiano on top, beautiful blistered crust. It’s perfectly cooked. Anyone that says this pizza is burnt should not be trusted with food, and especially pizza, period. The sandwiches are great, the seeded italian loaf for the cheesesteak reminds me of Sarcone’s in South Philly. In a sea of mediocre suburban pizza, Joey’s is a gem. Fast delivery too.

958th different cheesesteak eaten in the last 4 years. I don’t think they count as guest eaters but Blackstone Betty and her Blackstone Grill Posse were at Joey’s. Speer has renovated the place and it looks great. New seeded Liscio’s roll, Levan Bros meat and cooper sharp cheese. I love a Liscio’s roll but you have to be ready for this roll. It is their high end roll and has a thicker crust. Love Levan Bros meat. I got a cheesesteak with fried onions and mushrooms. I would have liked a touch more cheese. I love the upgrades but I would absolutely love to see a caramelized onion, sauteed mushroom and less oil on the cheesesteak.
