Food was good. Service was terrible. Had to ask for our drinks. This is a buffet. We were done eating our first plate before anyone asked what we wanted to drink. No one got old plates. Employees were sitting at a table chatting. We had to move our plates to another table yo make room. Our waitress made eye contact with me while I did it but still did not come get the plates. When we got up to leave we were finally provided a refill on our drinks. It was not a busy time of day. There were only two other tables with customers.

Stopped here on the way home from the NC. My wife ate here on a previous trip a year or so ago and liked it. Not so this time. To be fair it was mid afternoon, but the meats I tried were cold and tough... as in TUFF. The staff was great and very friendly. I won't say avoid this place, but I will say make sure you go during peak meal-time hours. That may have been why my wife and I had such a bad meal.

Look, that juicy, crispy fried chicken was cooked to perfection. The fried green tomatoes almost made me sick though, but only because I ate way to much of them. I bet you can’t eat just one. Or maybe it was the big ole plate of spaghetti and meat sauce, seeing as how I went back for more of it too. But when I took me a bite of that sweet potato souffle, it hugged me from the inside and made my tummy all better. I swear, southern food doesn’t get much better than Norris Fine Foods. They got good ranch too. Nuff said.

Read the 5 star reviews, really people. Eather you don't get out much or you've never been to Golden Corral. I can think of several places that put this place to shame. In all honesty the food wasn't bad but it is more just barely average, not worthy of any bragging rights. Fried Chicken, even KFC is better. Vegetables were all seasoned well, but over cooked for my taste. We went on a Friday, folks a seafood buffet is should be more than one fish dish and shrimp. Salad bar, NOT even close. Great deserts ,just a bit limited on selection. Value for dining experience, over priced would be an understatement. Yes this could have been an "off night" but first impressions tend to linger. Will I go back...... probably, everyone deserves a second chance. Would I recommend them, only with reservations. Service was acceptable, they seem more interested in collecting for your meal than attentions to your needs.
