Lin's Chinese Buffet

Sunday night 8pm - selection good - standard Chinese buffet. However, maybe because late night on Sunday, couple items were out and some items I tried to eat were very dry. (Been on steam table too long?) Suchi was being made fresh and was pretty good (though had better elsewhere). When asked, was told no small dish available to mix Wasabi with ginger slices in soy sauce. Ginger was in large chunks, not thin slices. Since I was treated to dinner I don't know anything about price, but if my host paid more than $6-$7 per person, they paid too much. I would say food quality weak, but OK. Probably not going back, unless treated again.

Pros: Nice buffet selection. Friendly staff, flavorful dishes and desserts. Cons: For takeout orders, the customer is allowed one plate which requires the customer to combine or stack the dessert of choice on top of the meal. Nonsensical. The establishment charges a $3.50 fee for an additional box for housing the dessert which is too small for some desserts. Also, ice cream is not included and is an additional $2.00 upcharge to the original price. The aforementioned cheapened the experience.

We were so glad to see it reopened, the place was packed for Christmas Eve, all other sit down restaurants were closed, they could barely cook the food fast enough to keep it stocked, also a lot of people were picking up to go boxes which added to the need for more and more food. Service is always great. Love this place
