Cinclare

Started with an Old Fashioned, which was a perfect complement to the Shrimp Boulettes appetizer. My entree was an 8 oz. Chimichurri Marinated Hanger Steak served with Brown Butter Cauliflower Orzo Salad. Finished with Key Lime Cheesecake, which was three small squares, not quite a slice of pie for my taste.. If you care about food presentation, Cinclare is as good as any fine dining in South Louisiana. Atmosphere is pleasant. If you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, retirement or other special occasion, you'll enjoy the Cinclare Restaurant. We'll be back.

Do yourself a favor and visit this great restaurant in Thibodaux. We were attending a football camp and spent the week in the area. We are from Nashville, and have quite the selection of restaurants and did not know what to expect. Seriously, the service and food was unmatched by anyone else in the area. Reservations were quick and easy thru Resy. The staff truly cares about your experience. They were always prompt to ask if we needed anything. The bar drinks were spot on, and the food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in our mouths. We had the Duck Confit Birria Tacos, which were a perfect appetizer. We shared the Crab Alio e Olio, because it was amazing, as well as a special cut ribeye that our server described perfectly. Our complements to the Chef, the bar manager, and to the owner, Michael Dalmau who we had the pleasure of meeting that evening. Absolutely the best meal we had while in Thibodaux. Highly recommend! Easily 5 Stars!

This was such a great experience, Cinclare is in Thibodaux. It is about 65 miles or the same distance to new orleans from Baton Rouge. Cinclare opened in 2016, and this was our first visit. It won't be our last. It is a short get away, and well worth it. We stayed at a local B and B. Cinclare is an upscale dining experience. The decor was pleasant, and inviting. There were plants at the bar to restrict seating, but we were able to get some of the best craft cocktails while we waited. I had a JT Meleck vodka martini. It is a Louisiana made vodka. It is very clean and smooth. I ask for it whenever possible. I had an old fashioned. But the Bienvenu? (Sp) was a fresh strawberry muddled and strained drink which went down real easy. It was probably our favorite. The savory cheesecake was the best savory cheesecake I have eaten in a restaurant. The crust was light and crisp. The cake was decadent, light and airy with notes of smoked gouda. The brussels sprouts were excellent. It was served with holloumi cheese!!! Yes the squeaky Greek cheese that everyone loves. Excellent combination. The scallops were served in a sauce which made me want more. The duck confit with homemade gnocchi was perfectly prepared. Crispy and perfectly seasoned. My wife had the potato flake fish ratatouille. it was very good. The salad was standard fare. We tried 2 deserts. The one to get was the German chocolate cheesecake!! Wow !! Smooth rich and impressive. I recommend this place, and we will be back again for sure.

What an incredible find! Quaint restaurant. Slightly upscale but not pretentious in the least. The presentation is that of an exclusive high-end restaurant. I had the Tomato and Cucumber Panzanella salad and it was fantastic from the marinated cucumbers and tomatoes to the bruschetta style bread. Next was my entre of the Duck Confit with Gnocci and WOW! I can only compare it to the Beer Can Chicken at Weber Grill in Chicago, but better. To top it all off, the mixologist here is on par with any big city skyrise bar I've visited. This place is a must-try jewel if you're in the area.

Excellent restaurant. Nice change of pace to Christian'o's which is one of our favorites. The food here is divine. My date and I split the Duck Consomme, Pork Belly Birria Tacos, Roasted Beet Salad, and Louisiana Barbeque Shrimp. Each dish was beautiful and every bite was delicious. Cocktails were also great. Nice atmosphere. Will be going back regularly. Highly recommended.
