I will start by saying the other locations in Texarkana are great. This sonic deserves less than 1 star. We placed an order through the app and pulled in to pick it up about 5 minutes later. My wife clicked check in. The app gave her an error and would not let her complete the check in. We did the next reasonable thing and pressed the red button for help. We gave the lady our name she said "we will be right with you". 25 minutes pass. We press the red button again, and wait for 10 minutes for a response. It was almost like no one was working. They finally figure it out and bring us the food. We ask for a corporate number. The lady we talked to, and their STORE MANAGER tried to turn this around on us and say that our wait was our fault because we didn't check in on the app. Please recall our app gave us an error and this was the entire reason for contacting them in the first place. Next they tell us we can't give you the corporate number. Yes you can Google it, but sometimes they can give a more specific number to cut through the automated stuff. I understand people in fast food have a tough time with certain customers complaining about ridiculous stuff, but if your technology stops working for any reason it is not that difficult to figure out how to send an order out. This manager does not need to be managing a restaurant if he does not understand this fact. I vote with my dollar. I will not be returning here. Customer service is dead at this location.
EDIT: the response below from the sonic team takes you to the automated help line. I called that number on the day of our order. They claim the complaint will be escalated to management or the local franchise owner. I get the impression that the franchise owner does not care about the issue, I have had no other replies except automated responses.

Same problem, different location. It was difficult to find a station that was operational. The order taker was less than welcoming. However, my order was delivered within a reasonable time period. I didn't realize the condiment I specifically requested had been omitted at the time of delivery, but I was able to get it. I watched as three other customers searched for working stations. Two left, but one opted to place their order at the drive through. This may account for the reason that the drive through was backed up. Thank goodness my food and drink order was good or I would boycott Sonics everywhere.

I will never eat at this place again. When I got my food there was Grease or oil all over the burger wrap and no napkins were in the bag. I went to let them know and the manager just gave me napkins and told me he will let them know and dismissed me as if grease getting all over my clothes wasn't important. And it should have been obvious to see with the outside of the bag being greasy too

Placed order in app for 4 drinks, no food. 10 minutes later a carhop cameout with 1 drink and said that they were out of food. I told her that we didn't order food and the the drink she had was not mine. She took it back and went in. Waited 15 minutes more. Saw the staff tell several people they were closed. Went to the door to ask about my drink order and was told that they never got it. Showed them in the Sonic app where it went thru and my bank account where money was withdrawn. They told me they were having issues and didn't have anyone to work, despite the fact we could count 6 people in uniform in the store. I employee finally asked to see my order again and my our drinks.
Took over 30 minutes total to get 4 drinks made. If it wasn't for the fact that my money was already debited from my account i would have left .
Not sure what was truly going on , but it was not a pleasant experience.

I'm shocked. None of the drive up stalls work. The customer service is AWFUL. It's ok to be Ghetto and ratchet at your home, but I wouldn't recommend it at your place of employment. I attempted to place my order and didn't like her attitude so I drove off. I'll never go there again. Won't get any of my hard earned $. Summerhill Rd Sonic is the absolute WORST.

My boyfriend and i went to Sonic and ordered a snack with two Dr.Pepper’s. our food was great and had no complaints there but the issue we had over our drinks bothers me.😬 ( 2:00pm may-25-2022)
we informed the carhop that our drinks were bad. it tasted as if the Dr.Pepper was out so we requested they be remade as one does when that happens. it’s an easy fix but instead this lady tries to argue with us and tell us that the machine was just changed and had already been cycled through so their couldn’t possibly be anything wrong with our drinks. we then asked for our drinks to be remade, after sitting and waiting for ten minutes on a remake, she comes back and brings us out replacements but tells us it’ll be $5 plus tax because she “can’t just hand drinks out like that” we told her nevermind, we aren’t paying for that then gave them back to her and left. we pulled away and as we did so i got on the phone to call and speak to a manager, my boyfriend looks up and (a man) manager is videoing us leaving so we pull back in because now it is a problem. we weren’t loud, didn’t curse and we didn’t cause a scene in any way but were being videoed because we didn’t want to pay for a replacement drink after their machine was out the first time?
we pulled in and went through the drive through to request a manager, a female manager came up and spoke with us. we told her about the issue, she tried the dr.pepper herself and confirmed it wasn’t good then replaced our drinks how they should’ve been replaced in the first place (Thank you) but the man that videoed us driving away had just left all of a sudden (the women knew who he was and said she’d speak to him) but being videoed for no reason doesn’t sit right with me. 🥴

Pulled into the Sonic on Summerhill road to order a drink at 10 minutes until 4. Waited and waited....finally pushed the button and they said they would be with us in a minute. 10 minutes later they asked what we needed. Didn't get the drink until 5 minutes later! And at full price!!!! Server made no apologies!

So excited Sonic app is finally working for me. Or maybe I am getting Technology Savvy since enrolling in Freemote Coding Course. I used my Sonic app to get a burger and 44oz sprite with nerds Candy and burger for $2,00. Cha-Ching in my wallet. Don't forget to tip the server with savings like this. Share the Blessings. Now I need to learn how to order burger with extra pickels on the app.
