Golden Palace

There's literally no way these 5 star reviews are legit. I ate there yesterday and the food was absolutely horrible. I literally spit two things out of my mouth and back on the plate. Most chicken dishes had a texture like a wet sponge. The chicken on a stick was so overcooked I couldn't even tear it apart with my fingers. It was hard as a rock. Everything tasted like old grease. When you walk in the foyer, it smells like fish gone bad. A true stinch. The carpet is disgusting and filthy. It looks like it has never been cleaned. Ever. The wait staff was friendly, I'll give them that but the food was revolting. I had not eaten there in years and a friend wanted that for lunch so I came along for the ride. I regretted that decision almost immediately. My stomach started cramping with an hour of eating there and almost 24 hours later, it's still cramping. Golden Palace used to be pretty decent but those days are LONG past!

Recently my husband and I dined here on a week night about 7:30 pm. The food tasted as if it was sitting there all day. Most of it was. hard to chew because it was dried out maybe from the day before. We were very disappointed because we don't get to eat out often. We are really looking forward to Panda Express opening. It is always good, no matter what time of day!

I loved the Dr Pepper, it was cold and fresh. The restaurant was warm and comfortable considering it was cold and rainy. Interior decor is outdated, its clean for its age, can't tell what color the carpet is suppose to be and the atmosphere is uninviting. The waitress was very attentive. The food was warm, taste was a seven on a scale of ten. Some items were so old and dry they were inedible. The food appeared to be all premade. Price was average. Was it awful no but its not a restaurant I would frequent often.

Clean bathrooms, friendly staff and good food. No patio, so no pets and ADA wheelchair compliant. Cute and up to date...some great shirts saying they survived 2020 and a "Among us" sign so very nerdy. Which I loved. A cute table in the bathroom for non mask compliant people. I would gladly stop here again.

They did not have a big selection of food and had to clear our own plates. I understood it was close to closing time but y'all still could've had enough to suffice the customers until then, they had mopped around the food bars and didn't put out wet floor signs and I almost took a spill. To top it off it was most definitely not worth what it cost!! Never again.
