This was definitely worth the drive and every penny! The crispy shrimp and diced honey pepper beef lives up to its reputation. Every bite was just heavenly. The smoked duck breast appetizer also hit the spot. You know so much care and attention has been put into every menu item we ordered. Even the dessert (not very sweet like Western desserts) selection is perfect! The interior is beautiful and the wait staff are so conscious of your every need or want, they almost seem to read minds.

Well decorated in old Beijing style. Quite popular and may need reservations. I really enjoyed the crispy prawns. Did not like their specialty black cod with eggplant as much. Felt like missing some flavor. The black cod is $30 per lb and average 3 lbs per fish. Quite noisy during the peak dining hours (no individual separation between tables). Service was good and fast.

First time at this Michelin restaurant with family and friends. Have to say it was a great experience. Decor is beautiful, place is clean, service is very friendly and attentive, food is good. We ordered a lot of dishes and of course all the specials. All of them turned out tasty except a couple of them with sauces too heavy or salty and a bit greasy. The most impressed was the presentation of the dishes. Prices were high but that was expected. Overall, it was a good experience. I will go back :)

This place deserved their Michelin star. Great ambience, delicious food and efficient services. Every dish we ordered was decent but i was particularly impressed with the black pepper beef steaks and the braised pork belly with bamboo shoots. Their tea was also very nice and pairs well with the dishes. If you're keen on desserts, it's advisable to order in advance since the waiting time is around 30 minutes.

This is a beautiful restaurant. I wish we came with more people so we can try more dishes. The only dish I don't enjoy is their special tofu, they cook it nicely but the flavor was not special to me. I would recommend this restaurant to others. The chefs here have sophisticated cooking skills.

I made a reservation through Yelp, and it was easy, but it did not let me go under 4 people? Not a problem for me as I noted that I wanted a table for 2, but just a head’s up. The food we ordered was delicious. The crispy shrimp and skewers were fantastic. The negative one star was because the duck I wanted was unavailable, so I was given a cold duck, and that didn’t sit well with me later in the evening. Ambience was beautiful and well worth the Michelin star. Overall, amazing experience in the city I live in.

Fancier Chinese food. Definitely worth checking out if it's in your budget. I liked the crispy lamb and fried shrimp (best I've ever had) the most out of everything I ordered (idr what they were actually called); be sure to order those of they sound good to you.

The place is huge. You can definitely have a nice get together for any occasion. The portions are on par as well. The menu is quite extensive and impressive. Considering they have a Michelin, I’m surprised they have this much items on their menu. From the dishes that was ordered at the table, you can choose the amount. At times the largest portion available was the “medium”. Most, if not all, of items were ordered as “medium” wherever it was applicable. The shrimp is season and glazed well, not too overly sweet and the way they crisped up the shell is a great take on the dish. The string beans were savory and was expecting to have some sort of sweetness but it’s savory, plentiful at that as well (has that umami shrimp paste like savory side to it). The fried rice had a clean fry to it. You can definitely eat a lot of it feeling light and not heavy. The beef was great with their sweet sour condiment and the savory oil/paste to go with it. The beef was surprisingly tender and not dry. The pork belly was done well, tender and fall apart almost melts in your mouth. Overall if you can get a spot, I’d recommend giving this place a go. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and plentiful. The portions are definitely fit for a king. The food in general there was not as heavy as your typical Chinese restaurant. I think this place is worth it.
