Caribbean Spice - Tempe - Photo album

The owners name is Carolyn and she is super friendly. The new name is Caribbean Queen . She has recently taking over this establishment and changed name and odne some renovations to the facility. Food is amazing and staff works well together.
This place was amazing! I've been in AZ for more than a year, coming from MD. I havent had Caribbean food since I e been here! This was a great "first" meal! I'll definitely be back! The curry and stewed chicken was delicious! Just the right spice. The veggies were seasoned perfectly!
They have vegan options that are absolutely delicious! The plantain as a side goes well with the vegan jerk chicken. Food is prepared on time and is served hot. The server is a little shy but his service is fantastic. Definitely worth a try for lunch or dinner
The food was amazing, we will be back
I feel like this place is still relatively undiscovered. The menu is simple, but everything is delicious. Homemade ginger beer, friendly staff. They do phone orders for the lunch crowd. I've been here 4 or 5 times and everyone that's joined me has given it a thumbs up too. Favorite in Tempe so far
This place is pretty expensive (16$ for freaking oxtails) but the food is amazing, so I guess it's worth it. It's hard finding good Jamaican food around so I'm glad I found this spot. Plus I love supporting minority owned businesses. Definitely recommend this restaurant.
Taste of the Caribbean is a great ethnic stop. Their smoothies are made from real fruit and not syruped to icky sweetness. Unfortunately on the day I stopped by it even felt like you were in the Caribbean...their AC had broken down on a day that reached 120. I stayed coolish under their one and on
Incredible authentic food. Ask for some hot sauce, it's fantastic and a little sweet. The roti chicken is awesome, watch for bones (it's typical of a stew like that) and the jerk chicken kills it too. I'm coming back for desserts and maybe a smoothie.
Walking in and smelling all those aromas coming from the kitchen was definitely a welcoming sign. Quaint interior dining area with a cool wall painting of geographic location of the Caribbean. Food was flavorful and had a good 'kick' to it. I will be coming back.
Liked the food. Had the oxtail stew. Very well made. If you like marrow from beef then try this plate. If not, the jerk chicken is superb. No bathroom. Other than that, awesome
The food they serve takes time to prepare. It is as they said, a hearty meal. Food tastes good even for the first time caribean food eater like me. Even my very particular 3 year old son likes the food here. I work at a restaurant and the service is much better than some other big restaurants. Just
My first time here was awesome. The food was great, just the right amount of spice, not to overpowering but flavorful. What hidden gem, if you are on the fence about this place, stop, go, eat, you won't regret it.
Not a Jamaican restaurant or a Trini restaurant, but a Caribbean restaurant as the name says. We had the shrimp Roti and Jerk Rasta pasta and it was amazingly flavorful and had that home cooked taste. Found out you can preorder doubles, whoo whoo!!!! So a great representation of the Caribbean and we
My homegurls and I came in last weekend and omg!!! The best Roti on the west coast. I swear I'm coming in today with my mother and aunt. Everyone was super friendly and did I mention I reside in Anthem?? So yea, totally worth the drive. Matter of fact, I'm driving to surprise to pick up my mother
Best Caribbean food. Prices are a bit high, but fair. Some portions have been cut down, but it is still a good amount for the money and quality.
