This is the best Chinese restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The food was outstanding- we had the Mandarin meal. I'd never had sizzling rice soup before, but I'd go back just for that even if the other offerings weren't perfect(which they were). The owner was delightful, the wait staff were friendly and polite, the atmosphere perfect, the helpings generous, and the prices reasonable. We live in San Tan Valley, but it was very worth the trip!
My family has frequented Little Szechuan for 22 years. There has been a great deal of change over the years to the decor but the food and friendly owners remain steady and ever enjoyable. As regulars we have witness the common restaurant turnover of serving staff. This has occasionally led to slower than normal service. I am very pleased to note that the last several visits the servers have been attentive and on point. This speaks very well of management's abilities.

Love this place! Food always fresh and delicious. Service is like dining with family. Owners are hands on and always make sure you are enjoying your meal. Love the improvements to the building over the last couple years too!
Best ambiance, service. I called Swamee on a Thursday afternoon to ask her if she could accommodate 15 people that evening at 7pm. We arrived and were seated in a separate area than the main dining room, which made talking and laughing for that large a group relaxed. Above all the food is outstanding!!!!!
This is by far the best Chinese restaurant so far hands down! Tonight I got the Kung Pao chicken and special requested to be extra spicy and they did just that! Definitely be back and highly recommended!

My favorite restaurant. I have enjoyed this place from my first date with my wife to any time I can make it back in town. House special chicken, moo shu pork, and kung pao beef are my favorites
I and my whole family have been dining at Szechuan Inn since the 1970's when it was on Mill and Broadway. We absolutely love the food and especially Swanee and Ted, the owners. My little niece insists that we celebrate every special occasion there and loves to help bus tables or fold napkins for Swanee. Great people and terrific food - never disappointing! I guarantee it will be a favorite once you try it!!!
They mostly do carry out fyi and it is totally worth it. I got the orange chicken and it was perfectly zesty, not overly sweet, and nice and crispy. Plus the person working was the nicest, most homely person. I felt like my auntie was taking care of me 🤣. I also feel like it's really hard to find Chinese restaurants that are dietary friendly but here it's super vegan/vegetarian/gluten free friendly! A great place.
For a little hole in the wall place, it will rock your socks off! Great fresh food in a nice setting. Owner came out and chatted with us and she was delightful. Please order some take out. They had no dine in option because of short staff but she let us eat there anyway.
I really can’t speak higher of this place. There food is great, the family that runs it are the kindest people in the entire world and it just feels like a home. It’s stick to your rib Chinese food like you’d find on the east coast. And the dumplings are unreal. We have five orders of it last night. Just go here and experience everything.
My friend and I wanted to try a mom and pop place. WE FOUND THE BEST SPOT IN TEMPE. Atmosphere was perfect. Service was excellent. (The owner is the nicest lady I have ever met at a restaurant. Make sure to make some conversation with her!) The food was the best Chinese food I have ever had. I got the Pork Moo Shu and my friend had the Orange Chicken. It was incredible. My friend and I had one of the greatest experiences ever and will be going back weekly. We love it here.
Great food and great service. Went on a Friday night, 6ish. No wait. I ordered the, House Special Chicken, dinner combo (see pics) at the recommendation of the waitress. Hot and Sour Egg Drop Soup had great flavor, nice spicey kick to it. The wontons had cream cheese filling and fried perfectly. Not oily. The egg roll was full of veggies with great texture and color. A little oily, but to be expected. Main dish- Chicken was breaded and perfectly fried, not oily. House sauce had a great taste, not salty. Noodles were thick with thin slices of scallions and carrots with glazed strips of white onion mixed in. Fried rice was cooked perfectly. I ordered a soda to wash it all down. Large cup with free refills. I couldn't finish it all. All this for under 15 dollars. Will be back.

Food is always delicious. And the owners attitude is infectious and her smile is so welcoming. I feel like I'm getting fed by family when I come here .
We have eaten here several times in the past. Currently, they are only open for takeout. My wife has celiac and has to eat gluten-free. They do a great job with allergens. The owners daughter in law also has celiac.
It’s mostly takeout, the food and service is excellent!! the owner is so incredibly friendly and kind. You will not be disappointed! I will definitely be back.
My wife and I had lunch there. The food was very good and the portions were large. The owner is very nice and the service was great. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. We’ll definitely go back.
Delicious and surprisingly not very heavy! I got the Mongolian beef with white rice and a side of crab puffs. Crab puffs were crispy and fresh! Would recommend. Only thing I didnt like was that they didnt give me a cup to fill sweet and sour sauce with (I didnt ask) but they gave me one of those squirt bottles so that's really just a preference thing. Great spot though!
Cute little restaurant. Perfect for college students who want a good meal at a fair price. I wouldn't recommend it as a first date unless it's a really casual date. This place isn't what I would call fancy more like cozy.
