The food was very good as well as the service. However, the atmosphere needs an update. Definitely an older crowd.

Birthday Dinner. My wife and I ate here tonight to celebrate her birthday. She ordered the gnocchi with meatballs and tomato sauce and really enjoyed it. The sauce seemed homemade and the meatballs large. I had the chicken marsala. It was very aromatic when it arrived and the flavor was very intense. There were plenty of large fresh mushroom slices covering two generous portions of chicken breast plus a side of pasta with alfredo. We got a cannoli to go and shared it at the park. I can still taste the cream on my lips, literally! We just walked back in the house and wanted to write this review right away. The service was great, without overdoing it. The bread was warm, soft and tasty. Salad was basic the the blue cheese dressing on it was excellent, very chunky! Food was very good. Price was $39 before tip, 2 entrees and desert, no drinks. What more do you want?? Eat there!

To another reviewer who says the food/service was excellent then proceeded to dislike it due to being run down.....first of all WTF are you talking about? The ambiance was great. Even if it were a dive, great, I'd rather have great food at reasonable prices than overpriced food served in a "modern" homogenized atmosphere.

Fantastic. I was shocked at the level of service and freshness of the food considering I dined here on a Sunday at 8:30 at night. From the hostess to the wait staff the service was flawless. Our waiter was attentive and entertaining. The portions are plentiful, and the food is exceptional. I had the stuffed eggplant, and I highly recommend it. My boyfriend ordered the steak sandwich which when received was a bit of a surprise. Served open face it is a thick slice of fresh garlic French bread, with a 9oz perfect cut of steak on top! An interesting take on a steak "sandwhich", and it was rich in flavor. As a bit of a snob when it comes to Italian cuisine, I highly recommend Riazzi's.

Dined on a whim, patio looked welcoming so we gave it a chance. Very glad we did. Authentic style food with a genuinely kind and knowledgeable wait staff. The pasta dishes, manicotti and a generously portioned penne primavera entree, were delicious even after the attractive and tasty caesar salad whetted our appetites. Prior to, the wine selection and italian import beer, morreti, paired well with sumptuous calamari and fried zuchini appetizers. Will definitely return. When fully lit and polished, I don't doubt that their patio would quickly become one of my favorites in town.

Authentic!!. My family began visiting Riazzi's back at their Phoenix location on Van Buren & 52nd St. back in the late 70's to early 80's. Their food was excellent then just as it is in their Tempe location we visit occasionally now! Their antipasta salad & pizza is to die for!

This place was great. Very calm, comfortable setting. Took my lady here and we had a great time. Very romantic. Eli was our waiter and he was excellent. First we had the caprese. 10/10. It was delicious. Then we had the soups that came with our meals. Minestrone. Excellent! Then our mains came. My lady had the ravioli and I had the chicken Parmigiano. Delicious. It's really a shame this place closes next week. I can't say anything bad about it. We will definitely be there on the last day.

So I've lived within 2 miles of this place for over 20 years and I have to admit that this is my first time in this fine establishment, and am very disappointed in myself that it has taken 20 years. Our server, Eric quickly became one of my favorite servers ever. He was extremely knowledgeable, especially for only been working here for 6 months, respectful almost to a fault and incredibly attentive. Our food was above expectations and more than worth the price. I have found my new favorite Italian restaurant.

This place is spectacular. It's a hidden gem on Mill that many miss, and should definitely try. The prices are darn decent for how nice it is, but don't let the sultry atmosphere or weird location fool you. The cooks mean business here and the staff is very pleasant. Somehow they're even Barefoot friendly. 6/5 stars of I could.

I have loved this place for a really long time. The food is mostly great. I recommend sitting in the bar. The service is better and the atmosphere is too. The one thing I don't recommend is the lasagna. The meat is like a brown, slightly salty mousse. Everything else is really good from the Chicken Marsala to the meatballs. The steamed clams are amazing.

Came here the other night for dinner with friends. This is a nicely decorated place with a relaxing ambiance that also serves very good food. I ordered the chicken Marsala with a vegetable side and its was excellent. The menu has an extensive selection and I would definitely return to try one of their other dishes.

One of my favorite childhood Italian restaurants. It ia bow unfortunately closed permanently. But they had the best combination of fast service, good food, and good prices. Their marinara sauce was thick and unique, and their lunch specials were on point.

The food was great. The service was slow. The dining area reminds me of an old Italian place. It would be a lot better if it were an upscale retro place to eat. Overall the experience was good.

While living in the Valley for good Italian food, I tripped over this jewel through yelp. I don't see how this place could be considered bad seeing how fresh everything tasted. Salty??? Perhaps too much fresh grated cheese with your food (which you get to spoon in yourself). The place is dated, but if the food is good, who cares. My wife got the pesto with cream sauce tortellini while I went with the gnocchi. They were both beautiful things. The tortellini was marvelous with that cream sauce; I was fighting myself from mopping up a bit with some bread. The gnocchi was excellent (though I haven't really had much out there, so i'm not a real pro at spotting the best of the best) and the meatballs...absolutely stellar. They were soft with a small hit of spice while keeping with the meaty texture. After this, we were feeling satisfied. Oh right, dessert! I had to have the canoli while my wife went with the tiramisu. My wife hates canolis, but really liked theirs. The tiramisu?? Best she ever tasted. My only complaint is that they're a little expensive, but damn they tasted good. Are there better Italian places? I don't know yet, but I do know that this place is great. I'll be back again soon.

I have been eating at Razzi's for over 30 years. From when they were in Phoe. Razzi's is a family owned and operated business. Many of the key people have been there for decades. Most of the recieps have been passed down for generations. The food is alway good. Prices about average. They still use a good quality cheese on their pizza, and to my mind that is the key ingredient to a good pizza. The last time I was there, after our dinner, I got a pizza to go. We took it to a party, but sadly it had almost NO tomato sauce on it. It tasted like a white pizza. NOT my favorite. I still give them 5 stars, It's not often that I don't enjoy the entire meal. From just a Pizza and beer to a full meal, any type of pasta, soup and salad. They have it all, and make it like you like it, if you tell them exactly what you want.

I like to go here for special occasions with my honey.I LOVE THE PESTO WITH CREAM SAUCE TORTELLONI! It was the first thing I tried and now that's all I order. My honey gets the chicken diablo . Our Kids got the pizza but they thought it "tasted funny" - it did not taste like take out, they are kids, what do you want. So, we go there for an evening alone or with friends.

The chicken parmigiano is the best lunch special in town at $8.00 including warm bread, salad and a side of pasta. This place has been in business for sixty plus years. I'm sorry to report that Riazzi's Italian Garden will be closing after dinner service on Sunday August 13th after 70 years in business.

Wonderful atmosphere, family established. Clam sauce might have been canned, not enough garlic and way too much oregano. Calimari was tender, no tenticles - 😟 Everything else, wonderful.
