Being completely honest I came across this coffee shop because every Sunday we have coffee dates. This is definitely on my top 5 of coffee shops. The prices on the coffee just great! I love the variety and phenomenal service I received from these ladies. The owner or manager is such a kind, sweet and humbled person. She was so delightful. I can’t thank her enough for the first experience. I was trying to figure out what coffee to order and based on our likes she gave us suggestions and let me tell you. We loved it. Personally we prefer our coffee stronger than sugary but they work based on how you’d like it customized. As for their pastries and croissants we couldn’t get over how incredibly delicious they were. I wish I would have taken more pictures but we ordered a Ham and Swiss croissant and a raspberry croissant. When I say the food melted so soothly in my mouth I couldn’t describe it any better. I can’t get over everything from food, coffee, service I don’t know what more you can ask.
It looks like you’re gps is not right, taking you into office buildings but behold….one of the absolute best coffee shops I’ve ever been in. I told my husband today, no Starbucks, the coffee shop has to be charming. By golly it was. Everything was top of the line. The owner or manager made the best impression with his kindness and warmness upon entry. The lovely lady behind the register was super accommodating and friendly. Our food and drink items were all five star quality. Thank you, “Romancing the Bean” for a most charming experience.
Good coffee, even better service. The staff are always friendly, even at 6:55am :). Lots of tables inside and out. Amazing looking pastries.
I tried the green chili and pulled pork soup and it was the Bomb!!! 😍 Super good also the Italian warm sub, the bread was unbelievable, I have an Italian family and I have learned about bread it was amazing!!
I saw many good reviews about their coffee and yes I concur they offer nice drip coffee. Love their beverages served in message mugs which make a statement. We enjoyed the Cheesy scramble egg sausage English muffins. I must say I like the spicy tomato salsa that served on the side. Hoping to come back tomorrow for our breakfast.
I was having a rough day of travel with a full day left ahead — the staff & management here are incredibly kind and helpful.
Service was quick, food was great, beverage selection was everything I could have wanted.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch, one of my favorite beverages & had a chance for some great conversation with Robert.
As a former server, I loved this place and will keep it in mind when mapping my plans next time I’m in town!

The perfect lunch spot! All the staff were super friendly and accommodating. I ordered a strawberry peach smoothie that was perfect for cooling down from the AZ heat and a Chicken Cordon Blu croissant sandwhich which was amazing! Will definitely be back soon!
Hidden gem! It looks like you're going into a business district so keep going until you see the sign. It's friendly and heartwarming. The owner is intelligent and witty! It made our day he stopped to chat. Absolutely the best brekkie I've ever had. Coffee, tarts and croissant are superb!
Nicest people and best coffee and food. The breakfast wrap and the latte is the best way to start your day. Later in the day it’s a perfect location to sit outside working on the free wifi I had the mango pineapple banana smoothie as well. The best in Tempe.
This place was an absolute gem! They welcomed me in and made me feel like family. The owners and the staff were as friendly as can be and you can tell they have a ton of regulars that come in to visit and enjoy a great cup of coffee. The food was terrific I enjoyed both breakfast and lunch during my trip. My favorite was their cold brew but the regular coffee was excellent as well. Do yourself a favor, stop in and sit awhile!
