Some of the best Mediterranean food I've had! Definitely the best falafel I've ever had. Super delicious and super fair pricing. We go here often. Definitely recommend!

Very popular so a little wait. Food is some of the best in the east side of the valley. Not many tables, but worth waiting. Chicken Shawarma with salad, hummus, and pita was a perfect late lunch. Save some time to browse the market too!

Great counter service and market. The young men were very helpful in describing food items I was unfamiliar with. Chicken shawarma had great flavor and don't sleep on the Greek salad! The dressing is out of this World!

This place is just fantastic. When you walk in the first thing you notice is the smell of fresh spices. It’s awesome. Everything is so good. I absolutely love the grape leaves and hummus. Yesterday I tried the chicken shawarma sandwich and omg it was amazing.

Haji Babas is tucked into the end unit of a small strip mall. It's been there forever, and shows its age - but that's part of the charm. I found Haji Baba's many years ago when I first moved to Phoenix. I hadn't been in a while and sat there eating my falafel and thinking, "Why has it taken you so long to come back here!?" The falafel is about the best I've ever eaten, and the gyro platter was SO tasty. I'm not going to wait so long to return...and you shouldn't wait to try them. OH, and they have a little shop in the restaurant for you to pick up some amazing spices and foodstuffs you won't find in your average grocery store. AMAZING place.

I regret not taking pictures! 🫠🫠🫠 I visited AZ for the first time last week and I found this gem. I was only there for three whole days and I went back two times! I got the kebab plate and ordered an additional kebab that was not included! Give me the kebabs! The meat was spot on! The tabouli was fresh and zesty. And the hummus was perfect. I don’t even like hummus but I devoured this hummus. The service was delightful and friendly. You definitely get a lot of food!

As a family, we often go to the same restaurants wherever we eat out (which is a rare occurrence); and we wanted to go somewhere new. This is a nerve racking experience for our family, as we have some very specific eaters - and yet everyone loves what they got at Haji-Baba's. Delicious, good service, large portions (we all had small leftovers for the next day), decent prices (within ~$10 of what we normally spend for our family when we eat out), and two of my kids (14, 11) have already asked to go back next week! Glad we visited, and we'll definitely visit again.

My buddies and I decided to try Haji-Baba, the reviews were really good which was why we went. The food was amazing and pricing fit the meal which was great! The staff were nice and attentive which made for a pleasent meal! I can tell you that if I am in the area I will be stopping by Haji-Baba again! Don't take my word for it, try it out yourself, you won't regret it!

It’s been a few years since our last visit and today 1/1/22 everything was phenomenal! It’s good to see the care and attention come back to their establishment. This last visit the gyros we normally get were not prepared as well. Everything was in chunks instead of slices, onion was also missing. It’s hard to enjoy chunks of tomato, feta and lamb. Unless it’s a kabab!

Decent middle eastern food place with easy on pocket prices and a good portion size. Place was over crowded and took long for us to have a table. We ordered the queen baklava- did not find it great! Less stuffing and didn’t seem fresh. Lebneh Dip- fresh and very creamy dip to go for with pitas ! Shawarma plate- exceptional taste! Portion size is pretty good and everything right from rice to salad was amazing ! Falafel plate- great option for vegetarians! Comes with good size fresh hummus and tabouleh salad which is fresh and tasty! Overall a decent experience!
