Review Sal's Italian Restaurant - Tecumseh

The food was amazing! Very nice atmosphere. Our waitress was very kind and attentive. I highly recommend this place if you want a nice hearty dinner.

Great food, great server Megan, it was a good time. Good prices too! Don't mind the pictures it came out looking great, unfortunately we dug in too quick for me to take a good pic cause it smelled so good! 🤣

Dog Sitting (In almost my hometown) but 80 miles from my home. Went to Sal’s Italian Restaurant a few nights in a row, and the Ladies (Waitstaff) were extraordinary. The food was excellent. They played 60’s Soul/R&B over the sound system. Overall the restaurant had a lovely ambiance to it. When the place got a little busy, I felt bad for taking over a spot just enjoying my coffee and writing for a little while after dinner. Overall, if you’re passing through, stop for some great food. I’m sure the locals already know about this gem.

Food & service was fantastic on our last visit. I wish I would have taken a picture of my food. Ordered their chicken parmesan & the portion of spaghetti & piece of chicken was huge. Not often, that I take or have any leftovers but I couldn't finish. We love their bread sticks too & typically get their pizza. Prices are very fair!

They are only getting one star because there isn't an option for no stars. We never got a chance to try the food because the hostess and the other staff we encountered were so incredibly rude we decided they didn't deserve our money. The hostess was not only rude to us, but rude to other guests as well. You simply don't greet a customer by asking, and I quote "What do you want?". My wife and I walked in representing a group of 6, and 2 staff were immediately overwhelmed. Considering how many businesses have closed permanently, I would have to say any small business needs to have the best possible staff to keep costumers coming back and bringing their friends. The staff we encountered doesn't want any of that. In fact, they didn't want our group in the restaurant at all. We won't be back, not ever.

We just finished your delicious pizza, "The Works", as usual it was delicious! As was, your fried mushrooms and cheesy bread! I would highly recommend everyone to try Sal's Italian Restaurant, you will definitely want to go back!

My Son asked if we could go to Sal’s for dinner last night ( he’d never eaten there & it’s been awhile for my hubby & I). We were seated immediately and the service was very friendly and outstanding! If you’ve never had the breadsticks our server recommended to us…. You MUST try them! They are like no other! We ordered the breaded mushrooms that my Son read great reviews about- and they magically appeared like 2 minutes later ( seriously! I asked her if she had the correct table because it was so fast lol). They are not your typical mushrooms …. They are sliced giant portobellos and so delicious! Then the salads came…. They were huge for side salads, filled with so many fresh, delicious ingredients. At that point, we were already satisfied and getting full. The entrees were very generous sized and half of them ended up in carry out boxes. Super Fast, friendly service and delicious food. I have a strong feeling we will be going back again very soon!

After our wedding yesterday we took the wedding party to Sal's for dinner and it was nothing short of AMAZING! Everyone went above and beyond to take care of us! The food, the service and the staff were great! Thank you!!

Had a delicious dinner there tonight. My mother in law ordered the eggplant appetizer. She said it was one of the best eggplant dishes she's had. Perfect portion for a senior to. Great prices, generous portions, delicious food, all at a reasonable price.

I went today for the first time that waitress said to take any seat we liked. 5 minutes after sitting sown the server took our drink order . we got our drinks promptly. We were waiting almost 15 minutes for the server to come take our meal order but she never came back to our table . I had to walk out because I had somewhere to be in a half hour . I did notice there was only one server on a sunday afternoon. This makes no sense.

The wait staff is friendly and speedy. The environment is family oriented, and the food is 5 star. The chicken carbonara and the bread sticks are off the chart. If italian food is what you want, sal's is the place for you. You will not be dissapointed. Every dish is a masterpiece.

Delicious food and wonderful service. It’s always a pleasure to eat here. Plus I’ve never eaten anything like The Champ anywhere else. That pizza is just amazing as well as the rest of the food at Sal’s.

We had my younger daughters first birthday and as always, food was amazing and our server took great care. There were 30 people and she did awesome. I forgot a candle and a knife to cut the cake, along with a box to put left over cake in 😫Sals let us borrow everything I had forgotten lol. We eat here all the time and I'll always recommend 💜

This was our first time here. From the minute we walked in the door we felt like family! Will greeted us and sat us at a table and took our drink order. Then came Amy with her great smile and laugh! Food was better than any other Italian place! The Alfredo is to die for and the breadsticks are addictive. Thanks for a great dinner. Your staff and food speak volumes! I can't wait to visit again and bring some friends!!! It was worth the 30 minute drive from Saline!

The breadsticks are truly amazing, never had anything like them before. Price are good. We had a new server, and she did her best, I am sure she will get better. Friendly staff overall.

It was my first visit as a new resident of Tecumseh. I was disappointed the food was bland the minestrone was nothing but broth, no bread offered the bread sticks where ok the server was not good. I was told at church that Sals has gone down and it showed!

My husband and I first discovered Sal's a number of years ago when we were in Tecumseh frequently. As our grandkids and families came with us it was always the go-to place when we were in Tecumseh. Child-friendly waitress staff very good. We stopped there yesterday after having been at the theater in Adrian and coming through Tecumseh this is where we stopped. Never been to disappointed.

I always have a great experience. Love the atmosphere and the food. Servers are on top of things! Awesome place. Great Job!

Love the food and service at Sal's Italian Restaurant. My go to is the chicken carbonara. Love that there is something for everyone in my family and the bread sticks are a must!

Well, this is not our first vist. But, it is the first time we were surprised by our visit. I will post a photo of a dish our table ordered. Please comment if you think the pic posted is Chicken Alfrado or Chicken Marsala. It sure tasted like Chicken Alfrado. But, our server insisted that it was not an error and that this dish is chicken marsala.

I loved our visit at Sal's. It was great service and great food. We took 11 people and still received great service. I met the owner as she was helping that night. Our waitress was I believe Tonia and she had her hands full but did a wonderful job.
