This is a unique restaurant, offering lots of skewers and small dishes. There's a variety of items offered, pork, beef, chicken, seafood and vegetarian items. The menu is really really long, spread across 3 different ones, more than 8 pages.
The restaurant is pretty small and old inside. From what I know, they don't allow walk-in, it's only by reservation. The kitchen is right next to the tables, so you feel and smell the heat and smoke of the grill.
It terms of food, I had a mix experience, some items were really good, like chicken liver, heart, scallops, but few others were okay, like the Onigiri Rice Ball, fried baby octopus. The skewer sauce is really good, adds to the taste of the items.
The service is good. Items take a decent time to come out. So order more, as you are eating your current plates, if you plan to eat more.
Nice place to hang out with tons of food and drink options. Ramen was okay, just too greasy for my liking. The Japanese agedashi fried tofu was a must get! Various types of meat skewers were very tasty. Mixed vegetable tempura is a decent option to share. Don’t be afraid to ask the staff for popular dishes. Will come again. Make sure to call ahead of time to make a reservation.
Great food and friendly services. However some of the ingredients changed and the quality is not as the same as before. Still, one of the favorite places to go, especially if drinks with friends.
Large selection of skewers and dishes. The service was great and food was good. Love the fried calamari! Recommend to call for a reservation cuz it got filled up pretty quick even when we went on a week day night.
Omg, the chicken thigh Japanese bbq tastes soooo good, and the atmosphere there is so Japanese, small and makes me feel like home. The asparagus and bacon bbq is also my favorite!!
Very lucky to come to this restaurant, very authentic Japanese!!
Must order cream brûlée for a desert!! Yakitori is amazing! You have two options for yakitori (My favorites are pork belly & chicken tight): Sauce or Sea Salt. I prefer sea salt (ask for less salt if you are sensitive). Best appetizer: Chicken Karake (fried chicken; dark meat)
I can't believe I haven't written about this place before! I've been here 4 times and it's so good!
This place has 🌟amazing🌟 Japanese food - even though the menu is overwhelmingly big (5-6 menus) the food is absolutely delicious and the service is great. They bring your tapas out quick one after another. Food is fresh and HOT! It’s amazing 😀😀😀. The atmosphere and the service are great. Also, Yakitori has the BEST chicken wings I have ever tasted in my entire life. And I do eat chicken wings in a lot of different places. You can’t copy the recipe - wings are cooked to perfection nothing less. Just like the sashimi—no kidding the sashimi at this place melts in your mouth!!! I never experienced that before. I Absolutely loved the experience of sashimi here. The restaurant is small, but surprisingly for a typical Japanese restaurant, tables are big enough - it offers a lot of space than other Japanese restaurants I have experienced in the past. The kitchen is out in the open. It’s very clean and you can see the chef and the assistant working together making meals and most importantly washing their hands each and every time 👍🏼👍🏼. It’s authentic Japanese food. You will see both Japanese servers and clients here...so that tells you it’s going to be a great experience. The food speaks for itself. I truly enjoyed my visit here and will definitely come back again to try other items on their long menu! I highly recommend this restaurant. It’s a hidden 💎!
