Great coffee and lunch stop
We initially stopped here for coffee (which was terrific) and we liked the look of the baked items in the display case so much that we decided to come back for lunch. My husband and I ordered a goat's cheese and vegetable quiche and a house salad and they were delicious. The service was a little slow, but super friendly!
Great staff, good location and good interior. If you need a stop - stop here. Cool and relaxing we enjoyed it a lot. Limited parking by the highway but there is parking on the side.
Found a review saying this is a must stop on the way to Key West and I agree.
It is this quirky (some will say "hipster") espresso bar just off the Main Street, it has plenty of parking in back, and it is dog friendly!
The coffee was good, hot, well priced. They had enough options for everyone, including soda.
The surprising piece was that it exclusively staffed by middle aged women, not the normal employee demographic for a coffee shop.
It's likely a mini Starbuck's but for slightly less. Plus the food is all made in-house, you can watch them making it. Their sandwiches are huge so it can be two meals. And it tastes just as good the second time around. The coffee is delicious too. The atmosphere is so homie and quaint. I love this place and will be back soon
Love it! Everything is yummy.
Adorable.... This place has such a feel good vibe!!! Everyone is very helpfully and friendly and the coffee and croissant's are amazing. I give it 5 stars all around!!
Much like antimatter and matter, this is the anti-Starbucks. Local, polite, genuine. European feel.
Located in historic Tavernier drug store built in 1934. A nice coffee-sandwich-gelato place. Service is getting better, decor sparse - could use more comfy seating - there's plenty of space for sofas and coffee tables and a nicer set up in the garden area. Take a stroll thru the historic neighborhood and Old Settlers Park behind it afterwards!
Great Homemade Pastries. Pick your flavor of coffee, not just the liquid flavor, you can actually pick the coffee flavor, nice!
Great Latte and Fast Friendly Service. What a great new addition to Tavernier! I have been to Cafe Moka almost every day - the coffee is excellent, the service is fast and friendly, and the bakery items are delicious . The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with comfortable chairs or a courtyard to sit in to enjoy. Five stars!,,
Adorable café! Friendly, peaceful atmosphere. Inside has an simple, fresh yet eclectic style and outside is the cutest courtyard with lush plants and plenty of shade. Staff were always very friendly and welcoming. Pastries were delicious. We enjoyed the spinach & ricotta pastry and the ham & cheese croissant. Drinks were perfectly balanced between creamy, sweet and still gave you that strong coffee flavor. Highly recommend!
Food was amazing! We got two different types of croissants ham and cheese, ham egg and cheese, also a quiche. The place is soooo cute and staff was very friendly. I suggest also getting the specialty coffee as well.
Lovely spot to spend a rainy day! Good coffee and delicious GF banana bread (I make almost exactly the same, so I'm so proud of it now!).
Excellent food but a bit expensive I didn’t ask military discount just remember freedom did not come free. They served for your freedom. Be grateful.
Nice little coffee shop for a rainy morning. Nice staff. Quick service. Good drinks.
What a charming café we discovered on our way to Key West. Perfectly located for a nice coffee followed by some lovely pastries. I highly recommend it. The staff is very friendly and smiley.
The creamiest latte I think I have ever had but not missing any of the coffee flavor! The atmosphere is warm, inviting and cute. The staff is friendly with quick service. Highly recommend!
Nice french style cafe for a good coffee and a quick bite. Don't mistake this for an American breakfast. Most of their food is premade but it's really fresh and flavorful. They are conveniently located on the main highway and have a semi secluded courtyard but limited parking for the amount of guests they can cater to.
When I saw the pictures of this coffee shop I told myself I need to go.
End it was a great decision because this place is the style of coffee shop I like. Very bohemian with seating areas outside because you are not allowed to sit inside.
The service of everyone here was so nice and I feel like at home.
I ordered a coffee mocha and the taste was excellent, I also got an almond pastry and they heat it up as I requested. They brought me the coffee and the pastry to my table outside at their beautiful patio where I enjoyed them with the nice weather and excellent view.
Their prices are great and like I said the service is phenomenal!
We try to go to as many different places as we can each time we visit the keys because there’s soooo many hidden gems in the keys. This place is one of them. Had a yogurt parfait and chocolate muffin with some coffee and teas we had. 10/10 excellent. Hard to find even though it’s immediately on US 1. Worth the 3 u-turns to find it!!!
