Nice club, kids disco going, fantastic fireworks display. Drinks reasonable.
Was there for the Christmas fayre, excellent, especially Jane's knitted animals .
Place has gone downhill lately. Did the Friday quiz but it was uncomfortably cold in the room for everyone. Service and staff good but price increases (due to their financial difficulties) have been put up beyond many of other town pubs.

I have visited many times over the years, mostly for training events. Always reliable, nothing fancy. Buffet lunch has updated over the years, more inclusive, tasty, enjoyed by all. Friendly staff.
