I had an amazing time here. The food was amazing and the drinks were great. We came here for an anniversary dinner and were very pleased with the food and intimate setting. I would definitely recommend for a special night out.

Excellent food and service. Came here to celebrate Valentine's Day and enjoyed every bite. Chef Chris and his team prepared a delicious 4 course meal that made me think of the wonderful food at my wedding which was here.

They should have live music or some kind of music playing. It was beautiful but way too quite.

The host, wait staff & bartender were extremely well trained. They were always present, picked up your plate, asked if you need anything, filled your water - but never obtrusive. The food quality is hands down the best. The Sunday buffet price is a steal for such a gastronomic delight. Don't miss it!

What an amazing place. My wife and I went here for our anniversary. The food was outstanding. The staff was amazing. And the atmosphere was unique. I have dined in a castle before. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good quiet meal. Gents make sure to wear a jacket and sorry no kids for dinner. Great place for couples. This is a must go if you are in town.

Equus was a great place for eight people to share Thanksgiving Dinner. The entrees (beef, turkey, pork, and salmon) were served family-style, as were the side dishes. Afterwards we selected desserts from a large buffet. The service was excellent. The staff was very accommodating of one family member's food allergies. Expensive but worth it.

My boyfriend and I went to Equus for his 48th birthday this past week. It was AMAZING! Damian was our server, and he made the experience over the top enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable about the menu, and if there was something he didn't know he quickly found out the answer for us. His food suggestions were on point as was his humor. The restaurant itself has an amazing romantic ambiance that is accentuated by the candlelight and soft music. The food was delicious and the portions were sizable. My boyfriend and I were concerned that being such a fancy restaurant, we would leave with a large bill and still mostly empty tummys, but we were pleasantly surprised. His porkchop was very large and perfectly cooked, and I got two large pieces of duck breast with a good amount of quinoa that was absolutely delicious. The only, nit picky thing I could say is that I would have liked the skin on the duck to be a little crisper. Dessert was delicious and the Happy Birthday dish that they gave my boyfriend was very cute. All and all it was an amazing experience, and I can't wait to go again

While there are many 2011 and 2012 reviews out there decrying the service and the "unevenness" of the food, our experience was the complete opposite. The four of us experienced perfect service, spectacular food, a great wine list and an incredible view. While the pricing on Zagat feels a little low, this was a great special event place we would highly recommend. Expect to spend about $100 - $125 per person with a drink and three courses.
