What a great dinner! The staff is super friendly and welcoming—especially with four-footed friends. 🐶 The food is excellent. We enjoyed a combo plate so we could taste more house specialties. The beef taco was succulent and rich. Go for the fish tacos, too! Everything is fresh and tasty. A real winn
Very good authentic Mexican food. Really small place and there is usually a line waiting. But we only waited for 10-15 minutes. Seems as if all seating is outside. I got the Frito Pie and my husband got the Chili Rellonos. Both were very good. Service was great and our server checked on us many tim
Had an excellent lunch here! The food is authentic and delicious. The eclectic environment on the patio had a great vibe, everyone enjoying themselves. I stopped in at just the right time, no line and received fast, friendly, excellent service! All the employees had smiles on their faces and were ve
Sat out on the patio on a beautiful autumn day. Ordered the seafood enchiladas and the chicken chimichanga. Both were stuffed with meat. Ordered a glass of wine as well, with a side of guacamole. Hubby ordered the chocolate cake for dessert. Delicious! Wonderful service. Close to the plaza.
Go for the food, stay for the service. Excellent, fresh food with friendly, courteous service with reasonable prices and at a good location. Both indoor and outdoor seating options are available but seating inside is in a smaller room. Overall, what’s not to love! We ordered the fish n chips, the

The veggies were roasted zucchini and peppers. The green chili on top was perfection. It was an amazingl
La Cueva serves great, super flavorful Mexican food. Came here for lunch and ordered the veggie burrito and veggie tacos. They were able to easily customize for vegan (no cheese and no sour cream). The food was delicious, better than most Mexican restaurants we often frequent. Staff was pleasant, la
One of the best restaurants in not just Taos but I’d say New Mexico…maybe even the south west. Easily the best beans and rice I’ve ever had(and consider I’m from LA). When God is in the mood to eat a Chile relleno I’m quite certain he comes here…but get the combo plate with the amazing taco and ench
Went here with my cousin who is a local. It’s small but boy howdy, was it good. My cousin loves the seafood enchiladas, I ordered the enchiladas de camarónes (shrimp) and hubby ordered the mole enchiladas (chicken). Each of us would swear our individual plate was the best. Seriously, give it a try.
