Updated: We stopped here on our return trip and was given a room on the opposite over looking the pool. This room was much nicer and quietter than the previous room. However we still had an issue with the door latch.
We booked here for a few hours of sleep due to our flight arriving late.
We choose this location because the hotel was close to the airport and it was reasonably priced.
The hotel is dated and have a few short commings. Our room only had 2 towels, no bath mat to step out onto the slick tile floor, no hand towels and the chair in the room was very soiled. However the bed was very comfortable but the pillows were terrible.
They had plenty of hot water but the shower head is very low. The room door was very difficult to latch.
Overall, it was decent for a short overnight stay.
Loved my stay here. The people that work at this location are absolutely amazing!! Honestly the only thing the owners need to do is update the furniture in the rooms. The mattress and pillows are to die for. So comfortable 😊
Although check in took a bit longer due to a mechanical issue with a washer, we got our room just in time to get ready for our Ed Sheeran concert, we had zero complaints about the room. It was nice and cold when we walked in and the beds aren’t bad. Maybe bigger pillows since they were just little squares but it wasn’t an issue. They were able to provide us with another blanket to use since I like to hog the blanket and my sister didn’t want to be cold all night. Overall no complaints here. Location to get to Raymond James stadium was quick and easy. Traffic wasn’t horrible. Again no complaints.
Now the breakfast, we skipped and went to first watch because it was literally nothing at 715am. Some bagels and juice.
Now there is a gentleman’s club literally next door, so if you’re against that don’t go.
Overall great!
NO airport shuttle anymore, No restaurant. Just a vending machine in the facility, a gas station and a 24 hr subway down the street.
You will be happy if you just want a place to rest for the early flights.
Room is ok clean and quiet. Great value for what you pay for.
Pretty comfortable stay. The guy at the front desk was clearly tired of his shift but I give them the benefit of the doubt as our check in process was easy
I wish they had extra pillows upon request and the room looked a little worn but it was a nice visit.
