Finally, a good BBQ place with good mac and cheese! Highly recommend getting the "shut the hell up mac and cheese"! It was sticky, cheesy, creamy, everything you want. It had an amazing flavor with an amazing texture-- some places don't do both.
The meat itself was delicious. Tender and flavorful, you can smell how good it was as soon as you walk into the restaurant. The link was my favorite thing, I could eat so many if given the chance. Not sure if their BBQ sauce is homemade but I love that they offer spice level options for it. I tried both the mild and the hot and both were great, the hot had a little bite to it. I loved it because it actually added to the flavor and not just hot for hot sake.
Everyone working here were so nice. I had some questions about the menu and they made the process of choosing what to get so much easier.
I will definitely be back again, need to try the ribs next time!

I’m very picky when it comes to BBQ…They throw it down in that kitchen! This was some genuine soul cookin. From the moment you walk in you feel apart of the family. The food was fantastic each item layered with flavor. The brisket is tender and moist. The Mac n cheese is creamy and has the perfect amount of cheese 👏🏽 hands down my new spot for all things BBQ & Soul. If you were thinking about visiting, stop thinking and come get some delicious food that’s guaranteed to put you in a good mood! Thank you y’all for your good food and hospitality 🫶🏽

Just left and it was an awesome experience. Our group got brisket, pork, catfish and of course the amazing Mac ‘n Cheese. Would definitely go back. The Owner was extremely attentive and (better yet) fun.

My husband and I eat out a great deal! We’ve become food/restaurant critics of sorts. With that said, we felt compelled to bring attention to Sundra’s Soul Smokehouse in Tampa. The food there was very fresh, nicely seasoned and extremely tasty!! We give the food, service and atmosphere a 10 out of 10!!!! If you’re ever in the area looking for a good home cooked meal SHUNDRAS is your spot!!

I'm very glad we made it here for lunch. A truly authentic BBQ joint in the heat of Northdale. The whole family enjoyed the food. Excellent sauce selection, plus the Mac and cheese and the baked beans were true stand outs!! We handed back clean plates....👍

I always get catfish dinner or sandwich ❤️. The dinner you can get fries but I usually do the 2 sides of collard greens and creamy potatoes! The best ever catfish dinner in town 😃❤️. Shaundra and Jerry are great and make some great awesome homemade food! Highly recommended. The collard greens are homemade had some bits of turkey like soul food cooking right here! Shut the hell up Mac and cheese isTHE BEST IN TOWN! Nothing could be bad in this restaurant it’s soul food from the heart! ❤️

Delicious! The Brown Sugar Baby sauce was tasty! Nice smoke to the meat. Creamy potatoes. Good Mac and Cheese! Definitely going back for more! I wish they had a vinegar based sauce similar to those found in Eastern NC.

Nice little hole in the wall restaurant and the man and woman whom I assume are the owners, are very nice and made sure our experience was great. Food was absolutely amazing, especially the brisket. 10/10 would recommend. I intend to return in the near future

Best bbq in the Carrollwood, maybe Tampa, area. Had the shut the heII up brisket sandwich, creamy potatoes and baked beans. Ate every bit of it. Absolutely delicious, and had such a fun time with the employee that took our order.

The pizza is mediocre at best. Cheap ingredients. Obviously pre-fab canned tomato sauce and the crust was gummy and tasted like cardboard. Hungry Howies is better quality than this pizza. <br/>Caesar salad is garnished with grocery store bagged croutons. I can not rate the dressing since they didn't include it in the delivery order. <br/>Beware of delivery; only partial order is delivered but full price charged. <br/>i would recommend this if you want cheap food or are drunk, just want it delivered and don't care what it taste like. It's garbage. <br/><br/>

Ordered delivery from Brickhouse when we first moved to the area. Pizza took over hour and a half to be delivered and the entire order was wrong. Decided to give them another try a month ago, again the order was wrong. ordered delivery twice and got the wrong pizza twice. Don't really need to say anymore. Won't go back.

Regular Takeout. I've lived in the Northdale area for many years and this is the first time I have had real New York style pizza in the area. I received their menu at the door and decided to give it a try since there are new owners. I'm glad I don't have to get out on North Dale Mabry anymore to pick up a decent pizza. My family thinks the pizzas are extremely delicious. And honestly, for the kind of pizzas they make, the price is really good. I ordered from Flippers and Westshore Pizza before and its pricier to feed the family. In my opinion, the mild wings are incredible when they go along with some french fries. Definitely am making this my go-to dinner place.

Disappointed. Decided to try this place for a last minute dinner and was sorry I did. I ordered chicken tenders and they were very overcooked and were mostly batter. I picked out what little chicken I could find and threw what's in the picture and then some away. My husband and son had ordered meatball subs, they said they did not have much meatball and they had quite a bit of onions in the sauce. <br/><br/>Overall it was not a good experience, so I can not recommended.

Finally a good neighborhood pizzeria!. This location has had multiple owners and each time we give them a try with disappointing results. We have ordered from this place 10x so far and have yet to be disappointed!! Calzones are huge with a ton of cheese and toppings. Everything we have ordered has been hot, crispy and delicious. <br/><br/>Would definitely give this place a try as a hard to please Italian New Yorker, I give a big thumbs up.

Family Pizza Place Serves Quality Food. Brickhouse Pizza is the best pizza you can find in Northdale and Carrollwood area. If you're looking for a family operated pizzeria that makes everything homemade, then this place is the place to go!

Dinner at the new Brickhouse Pizza. This place was a pizzeria before but a small family took over this year apparently. They are very friendly and the guy knows a lot about the pizza business. I didn't know what to order so he recommended I try a Margarita pizza. It was honestly one of the BEST PIZZA I have ever eaten in my life!!! I think I will be using their catering service for my daughter's birthday that is coming up.
