Love this place! Great Puerto Rican sweets, flans, cakes and more. The coffee is so delicious! Not butter, very well balanced in flavor. I bought a Halloween cake and well designed. The flavors brought me back to the Valencia Bakery in Manhattan from when I grew up there in the 70s through the 90s.
I love this place ! They have been doing my daughter birthday cakes since she was one and now 7 years ! The taste is delicious and customer service is great !!! I wish there was more than 5 stars. I especially love the baker Ms.

The food was pretty good, the tripleta definitely needed mayoketchup on it. And for the meat to be cut up and not just a big chunk of meat on it. But overall was pretty good, coffee was tasty. And the breakfast potatoes were delicious 😋
I walked past this bakery and had to stop in and check this place out. Oh my goodness! My daughter and I got milkshakes (mango and Pina colada) they were perfect consistency and the flavors were spectacular. This place was open many years ago as a Puerto Rican bakery but was sold some years ago to a none Puerto Rican .
By far one of the best bakeries in Tampa. Truly a hidden gem. Staff is very friendly, food and baked goods are delicious and you can see how much the community loves this little sho by the volume of visitors.
This bakery is such a gem. I’ve tried many things here, all the coffees and espressos, the flans, croquettes and empanadas, Cuban sandwich, breads, etc. The staff is always super helpful and polite. Highly recommend this cafe!!

Friendly,fast,amazing prices and delicious. My boyfriend and I got a sandwich, large cafe con leche and a dessert for 9.99. Can’t beat that price. Looking for good food on a budget El coqui is the place to go.
