"Sweet" concept (pun intended) in a charming, hidden-gem spot of our beloved South Tampa. And, of course, nothing beats tasty, healthy, good grub! :)
So amazing and fresh!! Loved it!! I had vanilla charcoal with strawberries, GF vegan brownie, cacao chunks, coconut shavings, granola and almond butter! So glad this is close by and will def be coming a lot and recommending!!
Decent bowls here. Wish they’d give more toppings included with the price, and the granola isn’t my favorite. But the fruit is really fresh and the drizzle peanut butter and honey are good.
I have been to Hyde park a lot of times and always wanted to try our the Sweet Soul.
Through Yelp Elite Month experience I finally got the chance to have soft serve from Sweet Soul.
Sweet soul is beautifully decorated and I love the color of the building which goes with their favorite flavor strawberry.
When we entered sweet soul we were greeted by the server and after I told them that I am for Yelp Elite Month.
They offered me different flavors which I can have for soft serve.
From the flavors I choose their best flavor which was Strawberry flavor and for toppings I used peanut butter and coconut flakes.
The soft serve was ready in 5 minutes with all the ingredients that I told to be added.
The soft serve was delicious and tasty. The strawberry flavor was amazing and definite to have from Sweet Soul.
I love their acai bowls. You can’t really beat having this on a hot day. There are picnic tables outside for you to enjoy your treats. The employees are very nice and welcoming too.

Sweet Soul was definitely sweet to the soul. It was a great visit with great service.
It's part of the locally owned Ciccio Restaurant Group, and kind of follows the same type of bowl concept as the other restaurants. The twist is that it's basically plant based and dairy free. They also have lots of gluten free options. I was seriously blown away by the taste of the PB and GF dark chocolate chip cookies. They were fresh, soft, and oh so chocolaty. I didn't miss the dairy one bit.
Anyway, I was set on having a swirl of 2 soft serve flavors. I just wasn't sure if they could swirl the Yelp's 5-Star strawberry with matcha. I'd only seen pictures of it with the chocolate. Well, I was so happy to hear that they could do that with 2 of my favorite flavors. It was a good match. The blueberries, strawberries, and coconut flakes went perfectly with it. I only wish I had chosen the Nutella drizzle instead of the honey. The Nutella apparently hardens up on the soft serve and kind of keeps it all together. They did recommend it, but I was kind of going for a healthier option. The honey was good but maybe too heavy for it. I'll know for next time.
Yes, there will be many next times. I totally want to go back and try the Italian Stallion and the acai bowls. I definitely need to get more of those cookies as well. It was the perfect morning full of enjoyable weather and wholesome treats.
So good! Stopped in here just to check it out, but was so impressed by the selection, friendliness and knowledge of the staff and food! Tons of options to please eaters of all types. Really loved the healthy, delicious smoothie and my husband loved the chocolate soft serve!
Cute lil place for acai and fruit-forward smoothies and bowls. I know it's not really why you're getting it, but I always want calorie estimates on these bowls. Some are protein and calorie rich and can last you hours and some are lighter and perfect for a light breakfast before larger meals later on.
Great place to grab an acai bowl or a smoothie (I highly recommend the blue Bahamian, it was incredible)! Plenty of seating, but it's all outside, so your meal is likely going to have to cool you down, there aren't any fans or anything out there which is a little surprising for a company based in Florida with only outdoor seating. It was a really popular spot! Lots of cute murals / art in and around the build to see. If you want a photo of the smiley face one, it's on the side of the building by the parking lot! I would definitely go back!
Great for an afternoon snack! Build your own acai bowl and vegan ice cream sandwich. Both are filing and can be shared with someone. They have outdoor seating which is nice to enjoy the weather. There also pickleball courts outback so it is great snack afterwards.
I've been wanting to visit Sweet Soul for a while and I'm glad I did. It was my first time, but it's so easy to create a good bowl with one of the bases. Makes you want to try more. The employees are very kind which makes first timers very comfortable. Can't wait to try the smoothies and cookies. 🙂👍🏾

The lady with the tattoos who was working was really friendly when I walked in and very helpful in figuring out what to get!
