The best empanadas I have ever had! I have traveled the world and had empanadas my whole life. Being Hispanic it's a common appetizer. These are by far the best and super fresh. The family who own and run the business have always been very sweet and customer oriented. My daughter says it's the best customer service she has ever received and I can agree! I travel about 45 minutes to come to their location and I am never disappointed. I highly recommend their food to all my friends and family and will find any excuse to drive to South Tampa just to enjoy their amazing food! Their pastries are also some of the best I have had. They make it all with from scratch with their very own hands. Their hard work is definitely seen and tasted in their food. I love how kind they are and it's become a family tradition to go and eat at empanada world because of the amazing experience we have each time we go. I wish the best for this business and the family who own it and work so hard to make great food! God bless.

Yeah! Some of the best and put outlets I've ever had. Love how these are baked and not fried. Lots of unique flavors. I tried two of them I believe I had one that was like a Philly cheesesteak or something. It was delicious.
The owner is very friendly and she avoids processed foods as much as possible in her baked goods. You can tell she cares and she is very proud of the amazing Empanadas she has created
Went to this restaurant for lunch, little did I know what a delicious treat I was in for. The Cuban sandwich was incredible! Spot on! The next time, I am committed to trying some of their wonderful looking empanadas. Great food, great service.
Randomly looked up a place to quickly grab some food and it was the absolute best experience from walking in, the atmosphere, the service was so genuine. Jan was absolutely amazing, informative, and just all around so pleasant to be around. Truly an amazing family owned restaurant and will absolutely be back!
Go here! Fabulous seasonal savory & sweet & meat & vegan & vegetarian options. Menu attached, but varies daily and weekly. Things like butternut squash & apple soup with spiced pumpkin empanadas were specials today in September.

The best empanadas you can find! So many different flavors, including desserts and they are baked, not fried. So yummy! Sweet family-owned place.

I'm an account manager in the insurance field. I've used this place a few times and my clients love them. Great service and presentation! The empanadas are always packed with ingredients and flavor! Ordered: Beef,Chicken,Crab,Apple and Guava Cream Cheese.
The empanadas are delicious! I loved that they were baked instead of fried, and I could tell they were 100% homemade. I spoke to the owner and I was impressed that they offered so many different kinds and often had a daily special flavor. I tried the Southwest Chicken, beef, and steak (the steak was my favorite). The 4/5 stars is because of the price, at $6 each they are not a cheap meal especially since two barely was filling. Other than the price, great experience.
FINALLY! We finally have an amazing empanada place here in South Tampa! These empanadas are the real deal, baked fresh, and incredibly tasty. My personal favorite is the Artichoke and Hearts of Palm, something I've never had anywhere else, but ALL of the flavors are absolutely delicious. The fillings are beautifully moist, and the baked dough is much better than any fried dough I've tried. Prices are perfect, typically around $6 per empanada, though it does depend on filling (crabmeat tends to be around $7). If I could eat lunch here everyday, I absolutely would.
I will definitely be a regular here, and just hope that we as South Tampa can support this wonderful family owned business.
Cute little place. Dough is fantastic, buttery, delicate, not too heavy. Great flavors too. Owner is super friendly. If you are an empanada junkie, connoisseur, or rookie, you should come! You wont regret it.
