My family and I ordered an assortment of items a the other night. Finishing the leftovers now and everything is still delicious! The meat: chicken, pulled pork, brisket and sausage were all on point and very tender. Tried all the bbq sauces and it’s a great variety. The corn fritters, mac and cheese, baked beans and slaw were also great classic sides. And when you go, please don’t forget to try the banana pudding! I think I’ll be going through the drive thru for that alone lol
My wife brought me home the brisket and sausage and let me tell you it was fantastic!! The bbq beans and Mac n cheese is off the chain as well!! I also had the grape lemonade which was great as well!!!! A must visit for any BBQ enthusiast 👍👍
Willie Jewell's is by far one of the top tiers BBQ spots. Fall off the bone St. Louis ribs. The onion rings are the crisppiest you can find. I highly recommend this place.
The pork sandwich is not bad and they have a sauce station to get your own before the meal arrives at the table. The side I chose was the macaroni and cheese, but that didn't have the quality I was expecting. I've definitely had better macaroni and cheese, and this is far from real. All in all, this is a good place to get a quick bite, but I would have loved to taste some real macaroni and cheese with the classic pork sandwich.
This place was very good! Service was fast and the food was delicious! I had the pulled pork sandwich with Brunswick stew and Mac n Cheese. The pork was tender and flavorful, and didn't have a lot of fat mixed in it which I really appreciated. It also didn't have that slightly burnt flavor you can get at some BBQ places, it was juicy and tender. You can add your own sauce, they have a station with several different ones. I had the sweet BBQ and highly recommend. Brunswick stew was very hearty and tasty, first time I had tried it and it did not disappoint. The Mac n Cheese was also very good, creamy and cheesy as expected. The price wasn't bad either. BBQ places can be expensive and this was around $12, plus tax and tip so I'd say priced average for what you get. Overall I'd recommend this place for sure to get your BBQ fix. It was very slow while I was there, only one couple dining in and a few carryout orders. They also have a drive thru for I assume when you order ahead. I'll be back for sure!
The restaurant definitely has a comfort vibe. The food is tasty and fulfilling. I occasionally love the lean brisket, but my go to is grilled chicken breast, because I personally like healthy eating even when out. However you can get your brisket moist, they've got you covered there as well. There's also ribs, smoked sliced turkey, and half or quarter chicken as well 😀
The restrooms are exceptionally clean. And let me tell you, the sweet tea is some of the best in town.
I suggest going here before catching a movie at AMC Veterans 24 down the road. Worth checking out!
Best wishes 😎✌🏼
Great watering hole, fun and food was pretty good. Needs more fan power on the outside on the hot Florida days. But very nice low key relaxing place
The restaurant was very spacious and clean! And the staff was very polite and helpful.
Food was delicious and definitely worth every dollar. I was definitely not expecting such big portions. I think I have found my new favorite BBQ spot
Willie Jewell’s is a real gem. After years of driving by we finally popped in for a quick lunch. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. We took home peach cobbler for dessert which we enjoyed very much . Outstanding staff!! We will be back! Best hush puppies in the Bay Area!

I like eating here for lunch. Right down the street from me. Food is great. Everything on the menu is good. The hot bbq sauce is the best
Nice little friendly casual welcoming establishment a little off the beaten path at the corner of a strip mall. You might not know it was there if you didn't drive all the way to the far end to spot it. Restaurant looks new and clean. Service was friendly and patient. I ordered a Slawpy Pig which was pretty darn good for a sandwich. The coleslaw on top was particularly good (not usually a huge coleslaw fan). Baked beans were top notch. I have no complaints about this place. There are so many BBQ places in the Tampa area, it's hard to say when I will be back. If I were driving in the area and was hungry, I would definitely suggest to myself a return visit.
Stopped in for a quick lunch. We split the rib platter with collard greens and baked beans. The collards were awesome, great flavor. The ribs were good but they were cooked too long and the meat wasn’t falling off the bone. The staff members were friendly and helpful. I would recommend trying this place out
