I know times are hard and inflation is a bit of a problem for all of us. The mini Cuban is still affordable but smaller than it used to be. The devil crab is as much as a sandwich. I passed on that. Too expensive. I really love this shop.

I got the Cuban sandwich and black beans and rice and was very happy. Their Cuban is right up there with all the best. I am a connoisseur of Cubans here in Tampa and have tried just about all of them. Get this one all the way and pressed and you'll be very pleased. Rice and beans were delicious as well.

Awesome people. Im from Florida. I love deviled crabs and cuban sandwiches. I have lived in Tennessee for 21 yrs now. We don't have the deviled crabs or authentic cuban sandwiches in TN. I come down to see my family when I can. This restaurant was the only one that would sell me 20 deviled crabs to take home in a cooler with a days notice. I have taken my family to this restaurant every time I come to Florida. Great people and good food. We are enjoying the deviled crabs in Tennessee. Thanks for all the help.

I've been coming here for quite a few years and the food is always great. However, there doesn't appear to be much effort in improving the atmosphere. The inside has pretty much remained the same for many many years and not much to look at but still clean.

This is the cutest place for a quick bite. The staff Is awesome and the food is yummy. Love the coziness of the place. I will be back for more cubans. I am so glad that my son told me about this " GEM ".

Had a really good medic noche. The place is definitely a relic of the past, and could use an update, but the prices are good. We just popped in to grab some sandwiches so this isn't an extensive review, but I will be going back.

Had to order to go. The Cuban sandwich was great, we miss them since moving from Tampa. Unfortunately, the deviled crab was stone cold. They would have been great heated up.
We're willing to give it a second shot, but we'll ask for fresh deviled crab when we order.
