Food was pretty good. Those croissants are ridiculous!!! Cheese curds were yummy, spinach dip was kinda dry and chips were all broken little pieces under the top layer. Broccoli casserole was my fav, chicken tenders and shrimp were good, fries weren’t great. Service was meh, no sauces were brought with food even though we asked for everything when ordering, had to wait a bit to get it. Always had to flag the waitress down to get drink refills or anything.

We sat in the bar area so bartender Tiara took great care of us. Had a few cocktails (made with love!), shared an appetizer & a few lunch items. Good food, great service & cute atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

First time visitors. Sat in the bar. Great service and food was pretty good. Lots of pecans in the salad. Yum! And the drink is a Painkiller. Delicious! Must try the carrot cake!

We were out and about needing lunch so we stopped into Cheddar. It was clean and had a great atmosphere. The waitress Nicole was so kind and accommodating. Loved all the food. Wine prices were also fair. We were extremely happy with everything!

Loved the bourbon glazed salmon, Caesar salad was so tasty too. Nicole was a great, personable server and made good suggestions, like the watermelon vod-ka-rita! We will return!

The service was great and the food was awesome. We always like the complimentary croissants with honey butter. We had the cheddar bites as an appetizer. I enjoyed the Louisiana pasta, which is pasta with a combination of seafood and chopped chicken and just a little spicy heat. My wife enjoyed a blackened salmon meal.

Very good food. Good service. Even my out of town relatives had never been, already want to come back. Portions seemed very large and lunch menu is well worth it.

I like to think of Cheddar's as an upmarket Denny's. The menu isn't anywhere near as extensive, but it's airy, bright and nicely decorated. The salmon is nice, but a little dry. The carrot cake is definitely worth trying, but for the calories, split it with someone else.

Since moving to the Carrolwood area, I'm pleased to have found a nice chill spot close by where I can have the best of both worlds, a full bar and comfort food. The Painkiller drink was a Must try! Limited to only 2 orders per person, this drink definitely sneaks up on you! I have a pretty decent tolerance and even I kind of underestimated this drink. Loved the shredded coconut honey soaked rim, and the portion of the drink is very generous. Prices of the drinks and food on the menu was also very reasonable and refreshing to see, as the portions are generous as well. I ordered the chicken tenders and shrimp combo, which is a great dish for land and sea type. 5 tenders with a choice of grilled or coconut fried shrimp, which I definitely went with the coconut. (guilty pleasure, whoops!) Paired with 2 sides of my choosing, buttered corn and broccoli cheddar casserole. Really loved the dish, the batter was nice and crunchy, tasted like it was fried in fresh oil. The shrimp was the best part, crispy with just the right amount of coconut breading, not overly thick where it'd overpower the shrimp. There's a nice side of sauce that's fantastic for dipping, had a nice spicy kick to it that marries well with the coconut flavoring. I also tried a few bites from my boyfriend's dish consisting of the chicken fried chicken with some mash. We were both pleasantly...and deliciously, surprised by how juicy the meat was, considering that it was made with 2 pieces white breast meat! Again, the batter was fantastic and extra crispy. Last but not least, I cannot forget to give a special shout-out to the fabulous yet dangerously good honey butter croissants! Wow! I had to force myself to hold back after eating 2; the warm, flakey buttery croissant with the sweet drizzled honey butter. *Chef's kiss* Great first experience here, other than waiting a while to be seated during a slow time, I will be looking forward to frequenting here more!

Good spot in the area to check out!! They serve large portions and the food has good flavor……at reasonable prices. Service was kind of lacking but with the times that we are in nowadays, what restaurant isn’t short staffed. Atmosphere was OK, the bar area is nice which is where we sat at. Will probably be making a return visit!

The service was great and food bought out fast. The food was cooked perfectly as ordered and the price not so bad. Everyone smiled and made you feel welcome. The Bacon Cheddar burger was delicious and filling. I’m not from Tampa, but when I go back, I’ll check them out and may try the dessert.

First thing's first: the service was *abysmal*. We came around 8 on a Saturday and were seated quickly, but after we ordered it's like we didn't exist anymore. Our server visibly forgot several things we asked for and we had to remind her. However, our server also had a great attitude and gave insightful recommendations based on the party's tastes. The food itself was very good, and the main reason for the 4-star rating. I got the Key West Chicken and Shrimp (which I replaced with coconut shrimp) and I highly recommend it. The chicken was juicy and done all the way thru, well-seasoned. The coconut shrimp was hot, crispy and a little sweet. I also highly recommend the broccoli casserole, which I could eat a whole bowl of with no problem. If your server doesn't tell you like mine did, allow me to: GET THE SAUCE ON THE SIDE. It is *far* too sweet and you will only want the tiniest amount on your entree lest it turn into a dessert. If I lived here, I don't know if I could bring myself to eat in again, but I'd absolutely order online/pick-up from here.

I’m so glad I stopped in on Friday! I hadn’t eaten at a Cheddar’s in a few years. Alexi behind the bar took excellent care of me, you can tell she’s very experienced and attentive to her customers & this country fried chicken was like seriously the best ever! I’ll ne back & I hope I see Alexi’s smiling face behind the bar!

Our waitress was very nice. I wish I could remember her name so I could shout her out here. The food was fantastic and surpisingly not that expensive. Also they were not forgiving on the portion sizes. I was barely able to finish my food. Highly recommend this place.
