Acropolis Greek Taverna - Tampa - Photo album

Great location! Amazing customer service! We arrived early for lunch on a Friday and our waitress was very attentive and answered all our questions. First time here and decided we will be back again! The white sangria (sweet) was absolutely dreamy! The food was delicious! I highly recommend this pl
We had lunch here on the patio and ordered stuffed mushrooms, baba ghanouj, and fattoush salad. All were delicious, especially the stuffed mushrooms, which I'd never tried before, and the fresh eggplants in baba ghanouj! Sitting outside on the patio was especially enjoyable and a great way to exper
First off, let me start by saying, the food is good. I have eaten plenty of Greek food over the course of my life and the quality of the food here fits the criteria. We started with the appetizer sampler which consisted of a few spreads. I was disappointed that they did not have taramosalata which
Excellent food, service, and environment! Even though it was Thanksgiving Day (crowded and busy night). Our server Spencer exceeded our expectations and made our night! Next time we come back to Tampa, we will sure visit this restaurant again.
We had a great meal at the Acropolis in Ybor City. They had great happy hour drink specials that we didn’t try but wanted to mention. The gyro (not pictured) and gyro platter were both excellent. Service was great. Seemed like a regular group at the bar having a great time. Great vide, food, and ser
Everything about this place is incredible, from food, to servers, to wait staff, everything!! Fish, Gyros, Hummus, Sangria are all amazing. This place is great for work lunches or group gatherings.
One of the best Greek spots in the country. The food and service Jose was great. You have to try the stuffed mushrooms 🍄.... As always the Gyro meal and some nice kabobs...
Octopus was perfectly prepared! Highly recommend. Acropolis seafood is creamy, garlicky Greek version of paella. Order it with rice. Excellent food, service and overall experience.
Wish I could add a video. The dancing, plate breaking, and napkin throwing was awesome! We did have to wait forever for someone to wait on us but when our waiter did come over he was great and the food made up for it !
This was my first experience at this establishment. I had the Mousaka as well as the Baklava Cheescake (which was "drop the fork" good). I will definitely be back to try the Athenian Fish and Fried Mushrooms.
