Taco Time Nw

Really underwhelming. i got a soft taco meal which felt like it would cost $6 at Taco John's for $13 and my soft taco looked like a burrito. The chicken soft taco burrito was decent but the flour tortilla overpowered it based on the size. The tots were fine. They give you a number and run the food out to your table. It seems to take awhile for what it is...

The cashier dude was super friendly (give him a raise!), and he was taking our orders. Suddenly a Karen (his supervisor?) came up and demanded all the adults wear masks. Sure, whatever. We could do without the mask shaming, Karen, but we get it... you're on a power trip and the guise of 'following the law.' But when she said, "All the children sitting at the tables need to wear masks too," we were like, "Wait what?" We even had a physician with us who spoke up and said, "Um. You're going too far." So all 25 of us left (yes, 25 people) and went over to Chic-fi-a, which is right next door. Better customer service, faster, better food--slightly more expensive, but at least the supervisor won't Karen-shame your children. One couple had already ordered and when they saw how the power-tripping supervisor shamed everyone, they came up and got a refund for their food and left. Maybe stick to making burritos instead of judging the health care of other people's children, Karen?

One of the better Mexican food chains I have been to in the PNW. Doesn't matter which location I end up at, they always have good eats. Plus, they have tots! Who doesn't like tots?? Had to drop a star...after eating I went to use the restroom. Very messy. And there were a couple employees who were behind the counter just talking and hanging out. Could use their time more wisely and check the bathrooms occasionally.

Taco Time is my only taco take out. They're a local chain. Unlike that other place, they do not sell Mexi-sludge. I've been going to various Taco Times since my college days. This is my current favorite, but they're all good. I love their hot sauce, their tacos, and their taco salads. Just writing this is making my mouth water.
