I had the fish and chips and they were so big and sooooo good and my boo had the French dip with fries. It was So good it was gone in 12 min and then he had a piece of my cod. It was loud with everybody talking. They need to have music a little louder to off set the talking, but we had a good time.

This place has great variety and is FANTASTIC: food, service and friendly staff!!! Also, amazingly has take out, call ahead and order for your family to take home or enjoy in the park. Their Chef's are creative, we are never disappointed and always feel welcomed.

With the new ownership in place I wanted to see how the food would be and they did a phenomenal job the meatloaf sandwich is what I ordered for $12 very reasonable price big portions. Tastes really good. Packed full of flavor and made just right. I did feel that the lemon could have been bigger in the big cup of water but I mean we're talking about lemon water here LOL I'll definitely be back again!!

My friend has been talking about the beach tavern for years, about how good the food is, especially the hand cut fries. Imagine our disappointment when our side order of fries came and the were out of a bag! We were so upset when the waitress kindly told us they weren't hand cutting their own anymore. Those fries were the only thing we didn't eat, such a waste of money! The little corn dogs, the burger and a French dip were all good. The service was good but there's nothing special about the place now. It does seem to be a serious local hangout, and the only place left down there now but I live up the hill and will probably just stop for a beer after a lovely walk

I had a wonderful experience here. The bartender was hilarious and awesome! The crowd that was there was very pleasant and enjoyable! The food was absolutely delicious too! Stay awesome Beach Tavern!

It’s Saturday June 11, 2022, I am not local to WA and I just took a walk at the beach nearby and came in at 1432 for lunch. I was originally served water but that was all, I can’t drink due to medication, but I came in for lunch. The area where the tables were mostly empty except for a couple. I waited for the server to come back to take my order. She did not come. More people walked in and soon the tavern was full of customers who were getting served but I was left alone. After awhile of no service I moved to where the couple had been sitting hoping to get service, the table had not yet been wiped down. A pair went and sat where I originally had been seating. The waiter walked right past me and help them. It’s now 1506 and nobody has tried to even attempt to take my order or acknowledge me. I finally say ‘excuse me’ to a different waiter and tell her I’ve been waiting 30 min to order lunch. My food finally came at 15:22. At 1525 the original server who gave me water finally came by and asked if I was okay….the food is delicious! But I’m not impressed by how I was ignored.

I like it, just sit and listen to the local conversations or join in them. Either way,good people and staff. Foods good too and prices are fair with location. I just sat and listened. Reminds me of good days for some reason

The ownership has changed. The food has gone down in quality exponentially! He has traded the known quality for cheap substitutes. The hand cut fries are no more! Poor business choice! I most likely won’t be back, what a huge disappointment!
