This place is truly a gem in the Syracuse area. We recently had a birthday party here and it was perfect. The owner, Pete, couldn’t be nicer and was incredibly accommodating. He wanted to make sure we had the perfect day and it was nothing shy of just that! I very strongly recommend the clipper tavern for a causal happy hour, a place to watch SU sports, a place to throw a party, and any/everything in between!!

My family and I recently held a 40th birthday party at the Clipper and it was beyond what we could had asked for! The owner Peter & his staff did everything possible to help our party be a hit. Everything from ordering the food for us, giving us reign of the music, helping set up our decorations & running around with us on the day of, providing great service/drinks and such a wonderful space to celebrate- it was truly a great place to have a party. The clipper has a really great vibe and was such a fun place to let loose and spend time with family friends. I would 10/10 recommend, and will certainly be planning future parties here !

The Clipper is a wonderful neighborhood bar. The owners are amazing and make you feel so welcome each time you come in. They always have the SU games on and happy hour specials each day! We come for SU tailgating and we play in a weekly pitch league. I love going for a walk in the area and just popping in for a drink after work. Must stop in for a cold one!

Oldest bar in Syracuse, although small, this place is welcoming and newly renovated. You're treated like family here and are surrounded by good people. This is our weekend spot!

This place is great! Very friendly owners and staff. Very inviting atmosphere. It's super clean inside and out. Not a hole in the wall place for sure. Quick draw and beers and shots! You can't go wrong here.
