I take the kids here every-time we are in the area. Even with a line the wait is never long. The staff are always friendly and nice. Has a little sitting section for for kids and the girls love it.

Had a Sunday with the maple pecan ice cream. Loved it! Place has great ambiance. Outdoor dining only and very popular with the locals. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop.

I've been going to Pete's for years. Since moving we bring our dog with us most times and the owner loves it, he gives her small cups of vanilla ice cream with doggy treats over the counter. They have a selection of Dole which I love. Would recommend to anyone looking for some good ice cream!
