The staff here is a true standout – they're attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. It's clear that they take pride in providing top-notch service, and it makes the dining experience all the more enjoyable.

I've been coming here since I was a little girl. Even though I moved across the county as an adult, I always make it a point to visit when I'm in ny visiting family and friends. The chicken Parm with a side of spaghetti will always be my favorite and no one can ever top it.

Neighborhood spot for large quantities of home cooked Italian foods. They're not going to win any culinary awards but I don't think they're trying. That's ment as a compliment. They stick to the basics and they do them well. Menu is limited but they have pretty much everything you'd expect. The $ 3.25 house red wine was a pleasant surprise. Red sauce was a bit sweet for my taste but not bad. Its more of an extra ripe tomato sweet then an added sugar sweet. Nevertheless this place is a solid if not fancy option in the area. Will be back for sure.

Great sauce on the pasta and the serving is just enough. Friendly staff too!

My new favorite Italian restaurant! The Manhattan clam chowder is on point. Shells with red sauce and mushrooms was on special when I stopped in. This place is the true definition of a family restaurant! Multiple generations working together for over 37 years and it shows. Everything is made from scratch using their own recipes and filled with heart and soul. They are take out only as of April 2023 and that is how they plan to stay according to the owners.

If you enjoy home-style Italian cooking, this is a restaurant you will love. Generous portions, truly outstanding sauce, delicious mozzarella, and very reasonable prices. Try their antipasto for one with Italian dressing followed by the stuffed shells. You'll have enough pasta left over for a second meal at home. Although this restaurant doesn't get a lot of buzz, in 2019 it was selected as one of the top 5 Italian restaurants in Syracuse by readers of the Post Standard. If you haven't tried Angotti's, do yourself a favor and eat there soon. You'll think you've walked into a small family-run trattoria in ltaly. PANDEMIC UPDATE: The food is just as good as always, except they are now operating on a takeout basis only. SECOND UPDATE: After spending 12 days in the hospital, this was the first restaurant I requested for take-out food when I got home. Delicious!

My mom used to go to this restaurant all the time before I was born, so naturally it became a huge part of my childhood when we went to Syracuse to visit my grandma. Every time I go to Syracuse now, I make it a priority to stop and get some Angotti’s. The food is authentic and always made to perfection. The serving sizes are large, and the prices aren’t bad either. Definitely a lovely gem! 100% recommend!

Angotti's dishes are my comfort food. Their lasagna and chicken parm are highly recommended!

Wow! The food was great. Large portions and fresh made. The server happily made accommodations for our special requests. The ambiance is meh but the food more than makes up for it and the prices are unbelievably good! I think we found our go to Italian place. Can't wait to try a pie next time.

Great Italian food that will 'warm your soul' in our frigid winter. When I drove in to the full parking lot, I already knew I was in for a treat. The food, like the ambiance, looked simple but once you take a taste it is true to what great Italian food should be. The spaghetti was cooked just right with enough texture. The marinara sauce was excellent with mild acidity and rich flavors. The veal parm was delicious. The portion was generous like the Angotti's are friendly and generous. I must say I had the best Italian food at Angotti's Family restaurant. I will definitely return for more!

Be prepared to wait on a weekend. But it is well worth it! Oh and if you plan on getting a garlic pizza which I highly recommend with a side of marinara sauce Get a small. It's huge! Bigger than most pizza shops large pizzas.

Our Go-To for Italian!. Being born in the Bronx, I KNOW good Italian food, so when I moved up here for school, I take every, "Oh, you have to go to ____, they have the best Italian food" suggestion with a tablespoon of salt. There are some nights when my boyfriend and I just want no nonsense, delicious, authentic italian food...and our go-to spot is always Angottis. Now, the atmosphere, is casual, at best, but take a look at the prices, and take a bite of the food, and you will forget how much you used to love white tablecloths and the like. (To be honest, every italian place we have tried since, we find ourselves comparing to Angottis, and we just keep coming back - we have since stopped trying other Italian places up here...). When you walk in, to your left you have a view into the kitchen and you will not find a culinary school educated executive chef, oh no, you will find Angotti family members making the recipes that their parents/grandparents have made for years (and the grandparents are usually the ones cooking to this day!)

Our favorite dishes are the garlic pizza (is fabulous), the fried raviolis, baked shells (fully-loaded of course), and their antipasto salad. One thing you should know is that the portions are huge. Example: the antipasto salad for 2, could easily feed 4; a small garlic pizza could feed two large adults! Come hungry!! Oh, and Andrew is a great waiter, always makes us feel welcomed like family!

Love it all!. Old fashioned Italian restaurant with the best Chicken Parm around! Fried ravioli makes a great starter too. Lasagna special on the weekend is awesome; Very casual atmosphere (soda in cans and bottles); Best prices and super fresh, high quality Italian entrees. If you like burgers those are good too as is the pizza. Calzones fill the huge oval plates and are made fresh to order. Been there multiple times and have never had a bad meal! Worth the trip from the suburbs!

The food was so good and the portions were huge. The thing that I cannot believe is how cheap the prices were. Highly recommend !

Great food. Inexpensive food. Long wait times though.

I love pizza, and I'm not very shy about it. So it didn't take long for this blog to attract the attention of some fellow pizza lovers at the office. One of them suggested I should try Angotti's Family Restaurant on Burnet Avenue, on Syracuse's near east
