Review China Express - Sylvan Lake

I’m usually skeptical of reviews online, especially when it comes to Chinese food so I typically take them with a grain of salt. I said to myself id leave a good review if the food exceeded the reviews. Ordered on Uber Eats and the food was still warm when it arrived. Portions were large but quality was lacking. I dont think anything will make me sick but the flavors are missing or off. The sauce on my lo mein and general tso chicken were salty and loose and just sitting on the bottom of the container. The chicken batter was loose, which is unfortunate because the white meat chicken was actually cooked very well. The cream cheese rangoons are good, but not great. While i’ve had much worse chinese food, I definitely will not reorder.

My Lo Mein didn't have any sauce added, the egg rolls were old and hard. The chicken seemed old as well or super over cooked. The only thing "alright" is the egg drop soup which still is off in its flavor.

Amazing service, and even better food. We go out of our way to come here just for the crab Rangoon and egg rolls. Perfect!

I pre ordered my food at 3 pm for delivery at 5:50 pm, at 6 pm I received a message from a door dash driver that the restaurant never made my order! I called the store and was rudely told they wernt making my order to call door dash. I then turned to the door dash chat and was told after 30min that a dasher was waiting for my order. Immediately after ending the chat I was notified via email that china express had canceled my order!!! Now it's 7 pm on Christmas day....

Ordered delivery through Uber eats. I ordered the orange chicken combo with white rice and an egg roll as well as beef lo mein. The orange chicken was soggy and breading was thick and slimy almost. The sauce was bland. The “lo mein”was the furthest thing from lo mein I have ever seen. Noodles were undercooked and there was 3 slices of beef and 1 snap pee in the whole mix. All the sauce was at the bottom of the box and not stuck to the noodles at all. The plain noodles tasted better than the sauce anyway. The egg roll looked like it was going to be the saving grace but one bite in and I was just as disappointed. The filling was sour in a bad way and was hard to even chew through. I have never had take out this terrible.The only thing good about the whole meal was the white rice (and that’s not saying much). I have never left a bad review for a restaurant before, but I don’t want other people to get this same experience.

I have always gotten good service and great food from China Express.

The food is truly flavorless. Literally no taste. I also found a piece of chicken in what was supposed to be tofu w/mixed vegetables. Really disappointing.

They neglected to bring eating utensils and subsequently rejected my orders. Do not odder from China Ezpress
