Guadalupe Cafe

This is still one of my all time favorite restaurants anywhere!! The food is always fresh, nutrient-dense, as organic and local as it can be, and the food is made when you order! You can taste the difference. I love their brunch menu on Sundays (pancakes are amazing and I don’t usually like pancakes that much but they didn’t have the french toast I was craving), their build-your-own bowls are fabulous, I love their coffee drinks, and you CANNOT miss out on their desserts that the lovely owner, Jen, makes fresh all the time…too many good options to name! You have to go and enjoy their fun, free-spirited, funky atmosphere or sit outside on the little patio and enjoy people watching. Love this place! You’re still the best!

Stopped for lunch at this cafe and it was incredible! Worth a destination road trip to these beautiful mountains. All the food (including meat and cheese) is from local sources. The food is organic and tasty - and the presentation is a work of art. The server was friendly and helpful. Would give it 5 stars.

I 💯 % recommend this business. We love the service in the patio. . The decor is eclectic and interesting. The menu is great it accommodates any palate. We ordered the red curry bowl and blackened plantain bowl. It was delicious and so filling. We got two plates to share for three people and it was more than enough food.

Fusion food doesn't usually excite me much, but this place gets it right. The dishes are healthy, and fresh tasting. Prices are quite reasonable for what you get. I ordered a couple of main courses (medium size was plenty) and appetizers and was very impressed. To top it off, the service was great too: very accommodating (FYI their soup of the day wasn't vegan, but the waitress made sure to ask the chef if he could prepare something that was...easily the best tomato bisque I've ever had) without trying too hard. I was impressed to say the least.

Excellent food! The salsas and guacamole were amazing and SO FRESH!!!! The chips cooked in coconut oil!!! Delish!!! The plantains were perfectly cooked and the tamarind(I think) ketchup was delicious!! We just had some apps but will definitely be back when in Sylva for some more!!! Oh! How could I forget our INCREDIBLE waitress! So impressed when someone can take your order and not write anything down and get everything 100% correct!

Very cool vibe, almost felt like I was in Asheville. Vegan and vegetarian friendly, food was really good, flavored well. We tried a bunch of different items from starters to dinners. I loved the jerk chicken sandwich and the okra spears. If you like hot sauce definitely try the Roga Haba sauce. Can’t wait to come back again!
